Rude employees. Won't stop talking amongst themselves long enough to listen to the customers. Cookies in the case as hard as a rock like they been sitting for a long time. Cake donuts dry and tasted like a freezer The owner lady is rude and stands at the counter talking about customers she doesn't like

Wixey Bakery did our wedding cake and it was everything that we wanted! They did a beautiful heart shaped cake with vintage style frosting and it was gorgeous! Not to mention how amazing it tasted! The cake was very moist and super tasty - if my husband and I didn’t have to have our first dance shortly after, we definitely would’ve finished the slice!
In addition to the amazing cake, their friendly atmosphere and professional customer service were always amazing. Everyone we had interacted with were very welcoming and helpful. They’re a Toledo gem for a reason!!

Stopped in recently while in town to visit a client on the recommendation from a local resident and was not disappointed. I’m an old school doughnut / pastry guy and this place has the goods! Was waited on by one of the family ( nice lady with beautiful white hair ) and you would have thought it was my normal Friday stop. If they’re all like that, no wonder it s been the go to for 95 + years. I live far far away in the flatlands but guarantee that the next time I’m within 100 miles I’ll be stopping by for a box of fritters and bear claws.
