Kid-friendliness: Overheard and saw owner waiting on kids at other tables..joking, laughing...making accommodations for them..nice!

Food is okay, but most items you can clearly taste are just re-heated, frozen, out of a box food..I LOVE to support local small businesses, so my husband and I try to order there weekly..for the 3rd time I ordered the Dumplings, which by far are the best item on the menu, but every time they have forgotten to provide the sauce that comes with it. The first two times I didn't say anything as I understand mistakes happen, but when it happened the THIRD time I called as I usually just order carry-out & explained that once again the sauce for my DOUBLE order of Dumplings was not included..I was told I could come back, which a round trip of 20 minutes was not feasible, so I was told that I could come in the next day and get another two orders with sauce, as I can't eat them without the sauce, my preference, but when I called the next day to place yet another order and get my two dumpling orders replaced I was told that the owner couldn't make me two replacement orders, that I could BRING BACK the order from the day before and they could reheat them or they could send extra sauce... REALLY...so b/c THEY messed up ONCE AGAIN, I just had to take the loss..smh..I guess being a successful business owner myself & putting my customers first, ESPECIALLY weekly customers who have also taken many guest there & spend good money there & would have continued, in there eyes losing $5-10 bucks bc of THEIR MISTAKES was worth losing hundreds and hundreds of dollars that would have been spent there in the future..so my family, my friends will not be going back..all I wanted was what I ordered and PAID for.. definitely not a way to run a successful business

We had no idea what we were walking into on our way home from a long trip. However, the food here was amazing they have Asain cuisine along with American as well and it was all very delicious the waitress was very nice and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was definitely welcoming, it also has a nice country feel to the interior.
Not the place it use to be. Food was under cooked and seemed like and tasted like it was from a bag bought at store a block away. When we arrived at 6:30 no other people there, then a couple arrived. Was disappointed in food but service was good and staff pleasant and friendly.

Ordered food for dinner hoping for Southern Fried Chicken. Was informed that new owners changed menu. No dinner menu. Asked them what kind of chicken they had. Chicken strips with fries as a meal. The chicken was prior froze and very thin. Fries were limpy, cold, and poor proportion. The corn nuggets were something to be desire. 6 in the order and bland. Meal was not worth the money spend. Very disappointed and will not go back.

Nice home style meals with a friendly small town atmosphere. Awesome breakfast choices. Just noticed the name has changed. If you get lost, ask where Kaslers Kitchen is. No local will know it by the new name. Written 7-10-24. Advice good til mid 2045. We adapt to change slowly.
