The restaurant itself was decorated well and it was clean, the service was fast and friendly. We were seated immediately and our order was taken within minutes of being sat. Overall the experience was great except for the food.. the food was the absolute worst Mexican food I have ever had. Myself and husband ate a few bites and were done. I hate to say the food was bad because the restaurant was so nice and the people were so friendly, I just wish the food was better. Would not recommend food nor will I go back.

We absolutely love this place! Food is great and staff is so friendly and attentive. Can’t forget to mention the catering. We had them deliver and set up a big spread on my husband’s birthday. We had lots of family from out of town and everyone loved it!

It always surprises me when I meet people in Miami county who still don't know that this is hands down "THE BEST MEXICAN" restaurant in all of Miami and surrounding counties. For starters, there is no better margarita than the La Catrina (I do a jumbo!) is it worth every penny and soooo very good! My two favorite dishes here (I prefer seafood when eating Mexican or other Latin style cuisine) are Camerones en Chipotle (shrimp in a creamy somewhat spicy chipotle sauce) and the tropical burro (the sauce on this burrito combines mango puree and their creamy queso sauce on a seafood mix burrito with shrimp and bay scallops). My husband had had their street tacos every way possible... they're all great but his favorite is the steak and the green sauce they serve with them. Their sides are also super authentic tasting and i love love love their refried beans and Mexican rice. I've probably been here about 25 times and literally every single time our service is fantastic and our food spot on ♡. Thanks for keeping the quality, good vibes and great service so consistent guys!

Had La Catrina for the first time last night and it was amazing from start to finish!!! The staff was so attentive and friendly. The food was hot and delicious! It was overall excellent!! We really enjoyed our server Jessy - he went over the top to provide the best service! HIGHLY reccomend!

Most items scratch made, better than nationally reviewed mexi restaurants in Cincinnati and Chicago! Some particularly excellent items Mole, house salad dressing, chilli relleno, salsas, and papa fritas. Service was also top notch.
