Not from the area , Stopped for lunch after a procedure at Troy hospital . Gotta say the wife and I believe the best Mexican food we have ever had and we have 6-9 restaurants in Springfield .
I called just 10 minutes before they closed with not a single customer left in the store & the doors locked and they were kind enough to allow me to place an order. They were quick, my food was hot and delicious and the service from both the kitchen staff and the front desk was great! I highly recommend. A wonderful atmosphere with great attention to detail on orders as well! :)

Absolutely love Los Pitayos. I've been coming here to eat ever since I was a child and it was named something else. The food is always very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are so great, friendly, and efficient. The owner is very nice and always greets me when coming in. I eat here in person and order a lot of Doordash from here and it never disappoints. Chori Pollo is one of my favorite dishes of all time. Best Mexican restaurant in Troy.
