We went for the fish fry. It was ok. It took longer than we expected to get our food and get a table. I'm not a fan of mushy peas ,and I generally like peas quite a bit. Why mush them?! They taste fine steamed. Everything else was good, Cole slaw and the fried fish. The band was really cool to listen to! I was waiting for couples to do some swing dancing! The music was a welcome added touch!
The last Sunday of the month - sweet, old jazz. One of the best kept secrets of the mid-west that shouldn't be secret anymore. Jazz musicians from the region gather to put down their best. A true treat.
