Food is okay, depending on who's playing chef...chef turnover appears to be high. Service is cool...especially if Mel is there! She can multi-task....converse, make drinks, serve food, and move bottles. Best nights: Wine down Wednesdays and fun line dancing Fridays. Always a good time!
Had a great experience at Chalk Bar! The drinks were delicious, and the specials were creative and well worth trying. What stood out most was seeing the owner there, actively helping behind the bar and making guests feel welcome. She was incredibly lovely and added such a personal touch to the experience. Looking forward to coming back!
This was a great night out. Great food and music and the game was on the screen. The food was Great! The atmosphere was awesome. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

The Chalk Bar offers a great vibe that is warm, fun, and relaxed in a clean, friendly, and open environment. The atmosphere is excellent, whether stopping by to unwind after work or meeting friends on the weekend. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making customers feel well cared for. Service is wonderful, with minimal wait times for drinks and standard wait times for food.
The food is amazing, fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Specific highlights include the AMAZING shrimp and grits, delicious hot wings, and flavorful catfish bites, mac, fries, and chicken Alfredo. Drinks are good and tasty, with excellent mimosas and a refreshing French Martini. The establishment also features entertainment like a live sax player on Wednesdays and a DJ with a dance floor, playing all the right music. Customers travel from afar to visit and consistently look forward to returning.
