East of Chicago & Pub

Our power has been out for over 24 hours since the strong winds passed by. Me and my friend were walking around town to see where we could find an outlet to charge our phones, and we went to try East of Chicago.

We walked in and a nice lady came to us, we asked if they had outlets because of the power outage and she said yes they did. She sat us down at a table with a outlet and we helped ourselves to the buffet. Happy to say we went in and left with our phones charged, warm and our stomachs filled.

I'd recommend anyone to come give this place a visit if you're needing to charge your phone while eating some good pizzas.

Pizza was good just a little skimpy. The server was very nice. No atmosphere at all. Perhaps a few wall hangings would spruce up the place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Transformation! 5-Star —The remodel is a huge, 5-star improvement.
The atmosphere is fantastic—a stylish, modern speakeasy feel, complete with sandstone accents and great art. The new buffet is excellent—fresh, expansive, and high-quality.
Go visit the new East of Chicago; you won't believe how much better it is!

Very quiet.
Mother & I love the claw machine!
It twas around $47 for 2 large Tower Pizzas.
The Chicago pizza I absolutely love but it's too pricey so I've only had it twice😪
Both pizzas are deeper dish & crunchy. For those whose mouth rips apart from acidic sauce, mom & I haven't had that problem here!
The staff is always so personable & professionally going with the flow!
If no one's at the counter, remember to ring that bell!
The buffet is new & hours vary.

Will be avoiding this store from now on! Watched a weird Karen that works here run outside screaming at some skateboarders like she's lost her mind like ok.... they wasn't hurting anything..

Tried the new buffet tonight for dinner and it had to be the best pizza buffet I’ve been to in a while! Pizza was nice and hot subs were amazing and the salad bar was fresh and crisp! The service was as always phenomenal! Will definitely going to be coming back!

In the past, the service, food quality, and consistency was top notch, but as of late, my orders have been wrong, from putting Green Olive instead of black olive, to my situation of today, when I called in a carryout order for dinner, a coupon for a 3 topping Chicago Deep Dish for 15.99 which expires 11/31/2025 (this review was written 11/01/2025), and instead got a medium pan pizza, which not only is a lot less food for being 14.99 (a single dollar cheaper), but also had inadequate sauce & topping coverage compared to the last time I got a pizza of similar size, and due to not having adequate transportation, I wasn't able to accept the remake offer, and had to settle for a 15% off my next order, which I will most likely not use for a long while, if I use it at all.

My food sucked , mozzarella sticks felt like they were microwaved, chicken wasn’t chicken or was old as helll . Pizza was alright. Super bummed cause I was craving their BBQ wings and the sticks but paid to much for this low of quality.

That is a dead moth on these wings. Only got offered a remake. Why would I want my wings remade in the same kitchen that a moth just got into my food in?

Ordered 1 lb Buffalo boneless got BBQ called 4 the fix. Received this, Pulled 3 out b4 someone spit it out any1 who's got those b4 know that's not what it looks like and I was ripped off
