Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink

Change the menu once in a while! The chicken tortilla soup was not good. Lacked seasoning and texture was off. The tuna tartare was very good!

Hudson 29 never disappoints us from the staff to the food it is top notch. From a casual get together with friends or a special dinner I can always know Hudson 29 will be a great choice. Would recommend!

We greatly enjoyed the outdoor patio and its ambiance. Flowers are beautiful in a great weather day. Service and rigatoni and prime rib were top notch and served hot and fresh, cooked to order.

We were visiting Columbus for the weekend visiting our adult children. Jeffro was our server and brought his fun, kind and energetic self to our table. He was engaged. He took time to get to know us and our preferences, made suggestions. He made our meal an adventure. Introduced our children to the manager, who just moved to the area, and shared some theater connections for them. We certainly enjoyed ourselves . The food was delicious. Each of us ordered something different and were delighted.

It was a packed house and extremely noisy. It was hard to have a conversation at our own table. Service was great!

I met a friend for an early dinner before the Nate Bargatze show at the nearby Schottenstein Center. The patio was lovely, and well barricaded from the street with a wall and planters. Jeffro was our server, and he was amazing — knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and attentive. I had the Hudson 29 roll (per Jeffro's recommendation) and a small arugula salad. Both were delicious. My friend had the burger and fries; she enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly (she likes hers well done). Very lovely dinner!

Hudson 29 is our favorite Sunday lunch place. The choices you get compare to the evening menu and are so good!

I ordered the chopped salad and was disappointed how much cabbage was in the salad. In my opinion, more green leafed vegetables and less cabbage.

Great Saturday evening time . Everything was great , especially our server Jeffro J. Extremely knowledgeable and outgoing. Jeffro made our evening special. We will be back and will specifically ask for Jeffro!

The food was amazing and our server Tina, was excellent. However, the dining room was extremely loud. So loud that it was difficult to have a conversation with just 2 of us sitting next to each other at a table.

We enjoyed such great service from Natalie. Food was excellent and our service was very good!

Sara was great. The food was good little pricey for the Shanghai Seabass, but it was very good.

We had a wonderful server who was engaging and kind. She checked in with us enough to not feel invasive but was respectful walking by while we were in conversation. The food is always outstanding and the drinks prepared perfectly!

I love this restaurant, but the noise level is ridiculously loud, which made it feel like we were yelling to carry on a conversation. You need some sound absorbing measures!

Had a great dinner here last night. Salmon, pasta, walleye and a sandwich. All fantastic. We were seated in the "wine room" which eliminated much of the noise Hudson 29 is unfortunately known for. Our server Grace was incredible. Excellent personality and very efficient. 29, you better hold on to her as she could work at any restaurant in the city and do well.
