Walked in and wasn’t greeted. Bakery items do not all have pricing on cases and employee seemed annoyed that I was questioning prices. She also was answering while in the middle of our conversation. Ordered a cinnamon stick and pecan roll. The pecan roll was dry and did not have any flavor. I guess I was expecting to be wowed from the reviews. The cinnamon stick was edible but would not recommend. My daughter had a cheese danish and took one bite and said it was not good. I will not be returning.
Best donuts in Columbus
Husband and I stopped in here on a late Saturday afternoon before going to dinner next door. This was our first visit and the staff was friendly. The case to the right when you first walked in was pretty much completely empty, and they were almost out of pies in the top basket, but the cookie case and the ones to the left of the cookies, were pretty full. We selected an assortment of cookies, and they were all delicious! Next time we go back we want to get some of the rolls as well, as they looked very soft and fresh.
Great cookies and the sweetest workers. I love that’s it’s family owned and operated and the workers who aren’t family seem to be treated as such. Very pleasant and clean bakery too.
Wonderful bakery. One of my favorites.

Sean and his sister Kelly were wonderful at helping myself and the customers who came in. They were prompt to greet myself and the other customer who came in, courteous, polite and were more than happy to help with our order. Five star customer service from them!
The treats are wonderful here and they even sell other items that are not desserts such as chicken pot pies which are good too.
This is my top choice of where to pick up desserts and treats when I need to go somewhere to get which is not very often

Just had a delicious and beautifully decorated cake from the Goodie Shop! We loved it!
This place is absolutely dismal, ordered a gluten free cake and mistook it for saw dust, this was dry and dense. They ruined my elderly grandmothers birthday with that absolutely atrocious cake. Staff was good and often friendly they looked like they were dying of heat exhaustion because of how hot that place was. Me and my aunt felt really lightheaded stepping foot into that store.
Overall if gluten free is ur jam this isn’t your place. And to be honest in general it’s not the place to go to.
Overall I give it a 2.5/10 they’re lucky half a point for trying.

I was getting a tire looked at and was waiting so I wandered over. First time in here and I had questions. The worker was not helpful and apparently not in the mood to help me. Fine, good help is hard to find. She’s young and she wanted to be somewhere else. I spent $20 on 6 cookies. 2 each of three varieties. Not one of them was good. The Buckeye something complicated name was sooooo dry and mine barely had any filling. (Picture posted) The iced sugar cookie was NOT fresh. How many days do cookies stay in your case?
I see now from the other reviews that maybe I picked the wrong items. Everyone else seems to like this place. Look at me with an unpopular opinion! I should have just walked down a bit farther to the little market to see what they had in place.

I saw this shop on Grubhub today while looking for somewhere that would deliver a special care package to a friend who just lost her beloved fur baby. They were so wonderful and accommodating and put together the sweetest Broken Heart care package. They were even sweet enough to draft a little note for me. My friend was just floored and so touched. She said the treats are delicious. And we both so love that the package comes with Pot Pies - the ultimate comfort food. Thank you all for your kindness. My friend will be stopping by when she's feeling better, and I'll definitely visit the next time I'm in town.

I have always been a big fan of the Goodie Shop until my last purchase. I called on a Friday for a 10” round cake to be picked up on the following Tuesday. They “wouldn’t have a 10” cake available until Thursday, but would have a 9” cake for my requested date”. That should have set off red flags, because if they can bake a fresh 9” cake, why couldn’t they bake a 10” cake? My husband picked up the cake which was to be decorated in fall colors. Before my husband got home, the cake had cracked and was sliding off the bottom layer. Looking at the cake, I wondered if the cake was cracked before it was frosted and the frosting was used to “glue” it together. It was the driest cake I have ever tried to eat. It must have been previously frozen. Now the kicker…. It was double the price of most cakes. I was quoted $75.00 for a 9” round cake!! I expected gold to come out of it for that price. Checkout the decorations for yourself.
They have one foot in the grave and treat their staff like garbage.
The conditions the employees have to face in the back of the bakery are absolutely disgraceful. I've nearly passed out myself a few times, someone else passed out twice. It's so hot back there during the summer. They legitimately do not care about their staff's wellbeing.
The cookies in the display taste soulless. They don't even look that great anymore. The prices they charge for the quality they offer on the cookies is not sublime. Do not be fooled by the colorful appearance, they do not taste great.
As a legitimate customer prior to being an employee there, the whole place is falling apart.
