Located in Upper Arlington, Moretti's Of Arlington | Italian offers a mix of great food and varied service experiences. The pistachio salmon, risotto, carbonara, and arancini were excellent, with the arancini being an all-around favorite. The chocolate chip cannoli and key lime cheesecake were amazing, and the bread and butter were very good. Cocktails like the sugar plum fairy and bramble were also well-received. Portions are large, with many guests taking doggy bags. However, some meals had issues: a parm Alfredo was noticeably watery, and the sausage lasagna noodles seemed uncooked and floury. Service can be inconsistent—one server brushed off a complaint and ignored a table, while another waitress and bartender Jack were amazing, providing fabulous service. The hostess was very friendly. The ambience at the Upper Arlington location is preferred, though one reservation was seated in the middle of the dining room with a view of booster seats instead of a cozy booth. Mains took a long time to come out for one party. Despite these issues, many guests plan to return for the arancini and love the place overall.
