Update: Although this is a nice place with a quaint interior vibe, the price of wine is now exorbitantly priced. We’re not penny-pinchers, but we typically do at least a bottle, so it makes sense to go to other better alternatives in the same area. Additionally, my favorite crab cake appetizer was down-sized and is just a little disappointing. Service is not consistent. My original review is below:
Cute winery atmosphere with great food and service. The crab cake appetizer is recommended. It’s garnished with corn, which is a bit odd, so maybe leave that off. Great selection of wines, of course. There’s patio seating along Lane Ave when the weather is nice and convenient parking in the rear.

Julia was excellent host. Appreciated the Italian wine selection. Ripasso on menu was wonderful. Would have given 5 stars, but the menu didn't say the veal meatball or sauce had spicy heat. Did takeout on chicken pesto spaghetti and will post about it. Very nice atmosphere, decor, and seating situations with bar and bar tables area as well as various table situations. Also really enjoyed the background music selections.

Wine Bistro is charming. Dinner was very good. Went simple with tomato soup very nice....creamy and perfect for a cold winter night. Shared a flatbread. Loved the thin crispy crust, was flavorful and not overpowering. Of course the wine selection was excellent. A wonderful evening. Thank you!

Wine prices are high per glass. Service very very good with cheerful and friendly waitstaff, we had the shrimp and risotto and it was excellent.

The food was impeccable- my husband and I shared the pepperoni flatbread and each had the shrimp risotto and everything was delicious! We will absolutely be going back!

Everything about our experience was amazing! First and foremost, Ben was friendly, knowledgeable, and just overall incredible. The mushroom bruschetta, French onion soup, and tortellini were all delicious. And Ben's recommendation of wines was spot on. I highly recommend The Wine Bistro!

We have enjoyed this restaurant many times. The service was very good and the food was excellent as always. The ambiance IS very nice, but on this particular evening, our table (by the window) was more noisy than usual.
