“I always enjoy shopping at Sugar & Spice. The variety of items they have on hand is vast and always of the best quality. They carry a wide variety of locally sourced spices, baking and dry goods, jams, jellies, cheeses and lunchmeats. They even have locally grown fresh produce now! The prices are so incredibly good, unmatched by any other store situated locally. And the ladies who work there are very sweet, kind, courteous and extremely helpful. This is the quintessential hometown marketplace.”

“Ever want to go back to a meal you had when you were a kid? This is the place. It's been around for years and you can go in to a period atmosphere with friendly staff and exceedingly good food. The fried chicken was excellent as well as the country fried steak. Their list of sides is bigger than I've ever seen before. We bought a pie to take home because we had no more room in our stomachs. Will be back.”

“Thin crust half sausage half pep. It was as good as advertised. Large Chef salad was great! We drove in from Columbus suburb to try it, and it was worth the 45 min. Could use a little housekeeping, restroom trash can full, trash under counter, and pop cases on floor. Picky? Yes, I am about cleanliness, especially when we are 1st customer of the day.”

“We ordered an appetizer and then a dinner. We got the appetizer and 2 minutes later we had our dinner. They need to space that out some because we were unable to enjoy our appetizer. The food was great people was great. We're gonna go back and try their pizza.”

“This was an out of the way hitting the wall. We found it was pretty good. It just took forever to get our food. But once we got it, it was pretty good weird, how you go to the bathroom you turn on the light. And it works both bathrooms, the men and the Web. So if you're going to the restroom and someone comes out of the other one turns the light off. You're in the dark really different, but it was a great place.”

“My wife and I went here for the first time today. Everything was great from the staff to the food. There’s something about the French Toast that is so good. I got the bacon waffle with the chicken, spicy gravy and eggs along with a side of fried potatoes. The gravy was the bomb! Great atmosphere, awesome group of folks working as well. “Hubby and I ate here with his son and daughter-in-law. First time eating here for us. Second time eating gryos for me. The food was outstanding. Service was extraordinary!!!!!!! And as for the three stars on the atmosphere, the place was spotless . We were their on 4/12/24, and it was after the rain it was warm .When we went inside, it hit all 4 of us . They had the heat ? on it was hot. I asked the guy behind the counter if it was warm in here or was it was just me. He said thank you. I'll turn it off . While we were eating, the heat came back on. I got done eating, and I had to go outside. My face was flushed ? . So that's why the 3 stars.”

“I've lived in Pataskala for just about 4 years and have been going to this location since they opened. Everyone has ALWAYS been so friendly and they learn their regular's names and sometimes leave uplifting notes on the cups! I have never had to wait on a mobile order even if I placed it and immediately leave the house (I live a minute away). When my ordered is incorrect on very, very rare occasions it's always resolved with a smile. If I happen to not have a brain some mornings and mess up my own mobile orders and call to let them know they are always understanding. It's a great way to start my day and I hope this location's manager(s) and their employees know how great they are!”

“Love this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. Consistent quality & friendly. Tried the Stromboli last time we got carryout & have a new favorite thing to order now. One of my favorite flavorful marinaras/dipping sauce I’ve had. Big fan of the homemade slices of pie too. Prices are really inexpensive for what you get. They’re are always busy but worth the wait times they quote (usually 45minutes or so) Small dining area with old school vinyl booths. Have only had carryout a few times, but always consistent & delicious & will keep coming back!”

“Just visited with a bus full of high schoolers that were in town for a dance competition. Everyone had ordered and had their food/ ice cream in under 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and on their toes with all these teens ordering.Great job! We'll definitely visit again when down this way.”

“I always look for new places I went to a sister location two years ago and had a great time. This time did not disappoint. The staff are all womderful and our server was energetic and over all lovely. The food is great for the price, mine was slightly over cooked but it wasn't enough for it to be ruined. It was the thinner bits anyways so let's be honest nobody cares. They were slow when I went with my party of four. Regardless it was clean it was a chill atmosphere. If you want a good place to go I recommend old bag of nails. (The pickle spears are amazing next day cold.) I got bread pudding as a desert and it is wonderful. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it just remember be patient and be polite.Parking: Free lot could be hard if they were packed. Wheelchairs would have difficulty entering but the inside layout is flat”

The food itself needs a chef to do some basic instruction to enhance the flavors - nothing awful in any way, but it wouldn't take much to make the food really rock. “I had been hesitant to go to this Subway ( or any Subway in Newark) because of bad reviews. But, I love Subway, so here we go. When I walked in the door the girls were very busy stocking chips and meats and such. I was looking at the menu board, so I stayed out of their way. As soon as I knew what I wanted, one of them approached me and pleasantly took my order. Watching them prepare my sub was awesome, the care they took, from building the foundation of the sandwich to adding the perfect amount of veggies. Exactly what I ask for! Also, got some macadamia nut cookies, YUM ? The establishment is as clean and the atmosphere pleasant. The only thing I wish was better was the toasting of my sandwich could have been longer, but, personal preference. Will definitely be back and urged you to go if you want a good sub!”
