This restaurant was very near our hotel \n\nwe were seated quickly although it was pretty busy \n\nWe were served some fresh tortilla chips and some good salsa- not to thin, not too spicy\n\nI had steak quesadillas which were well prepared with a good amount of steak in them. My partner had cheesy steak tacos which she said were good, too. \n\nThey had cold beer and good sangria. \n\nIt was not expensive.
The tacos de Carne Asada were great, ordered the dinner, no rice, didn’t bother to ask because the tacos were so darn good I forgot I had a plate full of beans. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean .
I lived in phoenix for 16yrs before moving to Missouri. we came to van wert for business. we came in today for lunch, and it was darn close to Phoenix's popo's mexican restaurant. I got a taste of home after 5 yrs looking. thank you ranchito.
