“Since covid it seems a lot of resturants standards have gone downhill but not this place! Excellent food, clean tables, and friendly service! It's probably a little pricier and the atmosphere can be a little loud but their food is fresh and well worth the money. They take pride in their resturant. Thank ”

“Cleanliness- found the location to be very clean. (did not check the lavatory)Atmosphere- Simple & plain. Aged and in need of some updating. No outstanding theme (not a bad thing)Food- we had the buffet, and found it to be pretty good and diverse with salad, different pizzas, and pastas.Suggestion- try to expand the salad bar with more veggies such as cucumber, onion, and add cottage cheese.Service- perfect! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely.”

“Absolutely love their teas and refreshers. I also love that they have new and creative things on their menu all the time! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of how expensive their products are, although I understand the nutritional products they put in their drinks are not cheap, I still have a hard time feeling good about spending 11 dollars on a drink. ?”

“I travel the country for work and always try to find the best pizza around. I have yet to find anything that compares to beer barrel. From coast to coast the best hands down. Everyone I bring to this place falls in love also. I’m leaving Columbus in the morning so I ordered one to take to my family in Arkansas so that they can experience the slices of heaven that I love so much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Good food, fast service. Chicken Chimichanga was better than the beef, but both were quite good.Still really good food. Very nice portion size. Chips & salsa brought to the table immediately, good taste, not particularly hot, but that isn't what you want for general dining.”

“ROAD TRIP... Cheap, tasty bar food! Old dark bar atmosphere with local bar flies at counter. Had to squint when someone opened the door. Pool tables in the background. Dollar bills pinned to ceiling tiles. But the food was cooked hot and fresh and perfect right there on the spot. Pizza burgers, chicken tenders, pork tenderloin, and French fries too hot to touch! 4 people fed to full for $28!!”

“Very clean and organized. Meals already prepared for $8.00 to be heated up in coolers, homemade tortilla chips, cheese from Hicksville OH, pasta salad and such, desserts, area coffee made in Convoy, OH and more. Not your typical deli like in a grocery but worth the stop. We chose ham loaf, green beans, and cheesy potatoes from the cooler to heat up after work. Yummy!!!! While I was there I ordered there weekly special to be picked up Wednesday between 3-6. There hours are 11-6, I think don't hold me to it. Stop by and support a local Van Wert OH business”

“Back at the end of June, I went in a group of about 10 coworkers for lunch to Fairway Grill. I did not even know this place existed and its located in my town. Its located in Hickory Sticks Golf Course, and the place was once a bbq place, but had not been to this place for years. I was excited to try Fairway Grill, as some of my coworkers said they had eaten here before and they said the food was good.No wait to sit down, and the waitress got our orders very quickly. I ordered the chicken tenders platter. In almost no time, our food started coming out. The chicken tenders were crunchy and delicious. The fries were also the perfect middle between too crunchy and too soft. I did ask for honey mustard but I was told they did not carry if, so I got buffalo sauce. My only gripe, I think they should reconsider carrying honey mustard as I would love to bring my family here and I know my mom would go for the chicken tenders but she dislikes any sauce but honey mustard. We got back to work within our one hour lunch. Love the fact that this restaurant is on the ball when it comes to making sure its food is out and its customers are out quick during the lunch rush! I would definitely come back! Great food! Great service! Quick service for lunch even with a large table!”

“A bit confusing-look for the black chalk board to the right of hot heads and order there. Sausage is made in house and is very tasty. Fries were good as was the “dough boy”. Price was very reasonable too!”

“There is not a lot of options in Van Wert. I found this place and it looks very basic and more like a 1980s dinner. I had a salad and the blue cheese dressing was amazing, I ordered the NY strip, it was so good, great char from the grill, great seasoning and cooked perfectly. Best steak I have had in a long time.”

“I am going to skip a bunch of pending reviews I mean to make in order to review my most recent experience, a to go meal my family and I had at Hong Kong Chinese Buffet. My family and I were wanting some good Chinese food, and one of my coworkers recommended this place. Walking, place is open, comfortable and clean. There is a small area where one can place to go orders. We ordered honey chicken, general tsos chicken, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, and fried dumplings. We also noticed on the menu fried bread, which we also ordered. The wait was not very long, and the price was very reasonable. The person who attended us gave us also two small bag of fried wontons, fortune cookies and a container of jello. We took it home and we loved the food. The fried bread was heavenly. The rest of the food was delicious. That is all except for the fried rice, which we did not appreciate. Still, the vast majority of the food was great and we are resolved to come back for more. This is especially true as my mom is a soup person, and she will want more wonton soup in the future. I am very happy I took my friend recommendation. I took recommend if you're in the area to come to Hong Kong Chinese Buffet!”

“Food was good, Service not too bad. Inside was empty but drive thru was busy. Place could use a good cleaning, but wasn't "dirty". Floor behind the counter could be replaced. Overall not a bad visit.”
