“Hello fellow travelers!This ice cream place was within walking distance of where we had dinner. I liked that it looked very basic and traditional like the original, yet had some interesting favorites like the butterscotch covered ice cream bar that was a lot like the Dairy Queen Dilly bar. There were other ice cream concoctions here that I was not familiar with, but the flurrry mix-in things were extremely thick and delicious. This was definitely one of the better ice cream stops on our trip. I was surprised that it was quiet here.If this particular ice cream store was where I live in Massachusetts, it would have lines 20 people deep. We used to have a JJs ice cream and they moved to another location further away but that is probably the closest comparison For those of you in Western Massachusetts.“
“Went through the drive thru at 8:30pm. Lights were off in the parking lot so we were gonna go around the building. Cars were ordering in the drive thru so we just hopped in line.ordered 2 medium Oreo blizzards and a peanut butter parfait. The gentleman at the window was nice……except he tried handing me a blizzard with ice cream running down the side. I got napkins when I requested them. Got home…. 5 minutes away….my parfait was already half melted and the blizzards were m and m instead of Oreo. Tried to call them at 8:50….twice….no answer. Now I’m drinking my parfait and the guys are reluctantly eating the blizzards.“
