“I stopped here to get my kiddo a little ice cream treat to end the week. The service was good, the attendant was friendly, especially to my boy. They had a number of options of ice cream, as well as soft serve and dipped. They also have a solid food menu. We only tried the one ice cream, though.“
“Dairy Queen may be short handed and it may cause some slow times during rush hour, but the employees hold them selfs together and they communicate about whose getting what and whose doing what that it helps the team to feel more at ease and not freak out so they can continue to take orders and make the ice cream and food and push it out to the customers. Dairy Queen is very old and needs some touch ups but the employees do clean and make sure it's not filthy. Dairy Queen may be expensive but all in all there is great food and ice cream. I would definitely recommend the Decatur Dairy Queen!! Go team!!Kid-friendliness: There's 5 different types of kid meals. And multiple choices of a side to go with the sandwich or chicken strips. Different choices of drinks as well as ice cream for their snack.“
“I am a huge ice cream fan and Whippy Dip did not disappoint. I tried the walking taco and the banana cream pie ice cream. Both choices were delicious and the portions were generous. The food took a little bit longer to make than expected, be we were glad to know that the fries were always fresh. Loved the hometown feel and definitely will be returning.“
“No indoor seating, but this local landmark is frequented by truckers, bikers, and horse and buggy crowds alike.Stopping in the past for ice cream, today I had the food, and it was good as well.Be careful approaching the place, buggies are not fast, and often have children riding. Old and young are here, minutes away from Decatur, In on US 33 and Ohio 49.So close to the border sign for both states’ routes are posted.“
“Keep at least one dairy free option at all times so we don't have to go to the other place in town that offers a few dairy free options. We visit your location multiple times a week and every time I end up giving my business your competitor, because you don't have any dairy free ice cream.“
