We went in for the chicken paprikash soup and it was even better than we hoped for. Like your Hungarian grandma made it from scratch. Loaded with dumplings and big chunks of white and dark meat. Also loved the brown butter rice krispy treats, homemade sourdough crackers, dirty martini dip, buckeye fudge, dill pickle pasta salad, and snack mix. Will definitely go back next time we're in town.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a catered lunch with friends in Vermilion. The chicken salad on croissants were the best that I’ve ever had. The salads were excellent. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t tasty. Our dessert was a carrot cake and cookies. We had many excellent cooks, teachers, home economics instructors and well fed husbands among us who all raved about the cookies and lunch.Especially, the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. I especially liked the carrot cake.

The first time we bought cookies and a cake. We loved the cookies but not the cake. We wanted to go back again because the cookies were so good. The owner was very nice when I told her about the cake. This time we got cupcakes, cookies and salads. OMG! Everything we bought this time was amazing! We can't believe how good the salads are, and the cupcakes and cookies are delicious! We finally found a bakery that we love. We will be buying one of the chocolate layer cakes next. We hope that she makes ooey gooey cinnamon rolls one day. With lots of cinnamon and that buttercream icing. We loved it!

I stopped in the store this afternoon. I bought a buckeye cupcake for my sister she said it was great. I had a lemon cupcake it was amazing, best I've ever had. I also bought a loaf of Asiago and everything bagel sour dough loaf. Toasted a piece when I got home it was delicious, and I'm not much of a bread eater. Then I took a bite of the chocolate zucchini cake. Oh my goodness, pure heaven, plenty of chocolate flavor and the icing was to die for. The cake was moist and dense just like home made. The young lady that helped me was very kind, informative and helpful. I will definitely going back. Thank you for all the delicious bake goods 🧁🍰

Hit or miss place. Sometimes you find something good and sometimes what you get is sub par. I find most of their baked goods are over baked, dry and lacking flavor. The vanilla bean pound cake with raspberry frosting was very dry for a pound cake(frosting too) and not much flavor. The cinnamon pop tart pastry had barely any filling and what little was their was dry as a bone. Oddly their food items are better than their baked goods for a bakery? There are some good things there though, you just have to do some experimenting to find them. Just curious; does anybody taste their products before they sell them?
