“We stopped in on a Friday without a reservation and Josh worked us in at the bar. So glad he did, as we enjoyed a wonderful dining experience. The Filet and Seabass dinners were both excellence and the restaurant offers a good selection of wines to pair. Josh and Maggie are welcoming hosts and Leanne and I had such a great evening, we stopped on Saturday for a night cap. We will definitely return the next time we are in town. If you are anywhere near Vermilion, stop by; you won't regret it.”

“Went for lunch on Sunday at Te’Kila Mexican Grill and this place never disappoints! It’s by far one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is top notch and the food is always excellent!They really care about quality and that’s apparent. We never have to wait long for anything. Everyone there is all hands on deck and it’s so nice to see how they all work as a team. From the owners to wait staff everyone is on top of things making sure their guests are happy and served. They don’t skip any steps, presentation is always nice too. They were busy the whole time, people kept flooding in and they took care of each and every guest acknowledging them upon arrival. As a service industry person myself I saw how hard they were working and appreciate them busting their butts for us! Just wanted to give them a shout and if you’ve never been there, I highly recommend it!”

“I called Hometown Bakery a few weeks ago looking for 9 dozen cupcakes 4 dozen of them being Elvis favorite snack flavor for a 50s themed event for my residents and these ladies delivered on the flavor! Both our staff & residents enjoyed the cupcakes today some trying all 3 flavors that we ordered. Thank you for not only the wonderful cupcakes but also a thanks to all of the staff at Hometown Bakery I spoke with in the process of ordering/picking up. “Stopped in this place on a whim, passing by saw it and saw public parking across the street so zipped in….and man am I glad I did! Got the Cubano sandwich half for here and half to go for my wife at home, well it might no make it home! The sandwich was fantastic, tender juicy meats and the homemade pickles they put on are fantastic! Soft bread homemade slaw on the side, the staff is very friendly the vibe is super relaxed and the food my God the food was great! Definitely coming back thanks for the spot on grub Jim!”

“Since trying Bowl Thyme about a month ago, they have quickly become my favorite restaurant. The food here is on another level. Every bowl I’ve had has been fresh and flavorful. The meats in their bowls are amazing! The atmosphere is cozy, beautiful and welcoming, which makes enjoying their food in the restaurant a nice experience. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and a nice atmosphere, this is it.”

“Valerie is on one, y'all, don't listen to that review. The breaded chicken is amazing, so crispy and the chicken isn't dried out. Egg rolls are my favorite of my entire life. Someone said the egg rolls were frozen out of a grocery store, if that is the case please tell me which one because I would never eat another egg roll again if I always had access to these.

I love this place and always will. It's a gem, and the woman working is so nice and sweet. Oh and the prices are hella affordable. I live in a big pretentious city on the West Coast and having an entire entree with 2 sides for less than $10 is completely impossible there. I bought two meals with sides, two soups and three drinks and it was still less than $30.

Quit your bellyaching and stuff your face with this GOOD FOOD. or move to Seattle and cry at food that is double the price only half as good as Golden Crown.”

A big thank you to Jordan (I think that was his name?) for his patience and kindness towards my newly licensed teen driver as they stumbled though their first drive through ordering experience and panicked. He went out of his way to make sure she knew it was ok and was super friendly to her at the window.”

“We have the Thanksgiving Day Buffet every year. You can’t go wrong. It’s always delicious. Turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes vegetables, salad bar full of goodness rolls and butter, assortment of pies coffe and other beverages. Awesome!”

“After our initial order of food, the waitress had to come back twice to tell us that although we had both ordered the same dish, there was only one left. So we reordered something else
only to have the waitress come back again to say that the one order was also now gone and we need to reorder again. It was frustrating. However, the food that we did order was good. Things were slow getting out of the kitchen but the wait staff was excellent. Nice location on the river in the water.”
