Hometown Bakery is such an amazing place! Tracy, Britt and their staff are always friendly and wonderful! Their sugar cookies are absolutely the best I have ever had. I frequently get their chicken salad, wraps, soups and salads for lunch. Never a miss! Everything is delicious. If you are around Vermilion and looking for a quaint place to eat lunch or grab a treat, this place is a must. Thank you for all you do!
We went in for the chicken paprikash soup and it was even better than we hoped for. Like your Hungarian grandma made it from scratch. Loaded with dumplings and big chunks of white and dark meat.
Also loved the brown butter rice krispy treats, homemade sourdough crackers, dirty martini dip, buckeye fudge, dill pickle pasta salad, and snack mix.
Will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Cupcakes were amazing!! I went in at the last minute and the girl working there was so sweet! She made me feel very welcome. I recommend stopping in here the first chance you get!
