Food was great and service was great. Seemed like some old drunks at the bar that were pretty miserable. Didn't really affect the vibe and I'm not being judgemental. Just pointing it out. It was on a Sunday evening tho. But yeah a great place to go eat.

Very nice place! Comfortable seating, lots of space, great staff and delicious food! We had the BLT pizza, meat lovers and Hawaiian and 2 personal pepperoni pizzas. Everything was delicious! We live in Michigan so likely won't be back but highly recommend!!!

I have eaten here a handful of times and this last time will be my last. I have never experienced such dysfunction in a restaurant except for one other restaurant in this town which is now closed. My husband and I like to share a bottle of wine with pasta dishes. We wanted to order a bottle of Bel'Aggio which was on a shelf at the bar area. The manager refused to sell it to us, claiming it was for decoration only (there were 3 bottles on the shelf) even though we have ordered it here in the past. Several of the beer taps were not working so people were repeatedly being told they couldn't have the beer they wanted to drink. And 2 different customers came in for pick ups that the staff couldn't find. This all happened within 10 minutes of arriving and sitting down at the bar. It was a bit chaotic as the staff rushed to regroup, find food orders, ask for multiple names for food orders, explain to new customers about the malfunctioning beer taps, etc. It was a very bad experience being refused a bottle of wine we've enjoyed drinking there before and witnessing a poorly run establishment. Food was ok, nothing to remember or go back for. Just a bad experience all the way around.

Jim's Pizza Box Vermilion During my recent lunch visit to Jim's Pizza Box in Vermilion with a friend, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a large BLT calzone and an Asian chicken salad. The calzone was cut into 12 pieces, and my friend and I each took two pieces from the ends. Unfortunately, none of our pieces contained bacon. After discovering this issue, I opened the calzone to find the bacon piled in the center. I returned the calzone without eating another bite and informed the waiter of the problem. The waiter apologized and sent the calzone back to the manager. However, the female manager insisted on charging us for half of the pizza, despite my explanation that the pizza was not satisfactory. I paid for the salad but refused to pay for the pizza. A manager named Ben approached me and insisted that I pay for half of the pizza. I reiterated my dissatisfaction with the order and refused to pay. Due to this experience, I would not recommend Jim's Pizza Box and hope the owner takes my feedback seriously. Jim's pizza box is a local favorite of ours. The pizzas never disappoint. We got 3 medium pizzas for 6 people. The pizzas were the deluxe, the buffalo chicken, and the meat lovers.
The pizza is tasty, packed with ingredients and flavor. We didn't have 1 piece left!
We say on the patio and it was gorgeous and clean.
The waitress was great.
