Saw a really nice sunset from our table at this restaurant. We ordered steaks and had some of the fun fancy drinks they offer. The place wasn't terribly busy at the particular time we came, so the service was stellar, our server was very pleasant and she also was thrilled about the sunset, asking us if we had seen it. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the sides were very yummy, and the quantity was enough that we took so home and ended up making two more meals each out of the leftovers. Well worth the money
Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator that works smoothly, from the parking lot to the restaurant level.

After our initial order of food, the waitress had to come back twice to tell us that although we had both ordered the same dish, there was only one left. So we reordered something else only to have the waitress come back again to say that the one order was also now gone and we need to reorder again. It was frustrating. However, the food that we did order was good. Things were slow getting out of the kitchen but the wait staff was excellent. Nice location on the river in the water.

I ordered a double margarita in a tall glass. I was informed that they could not make it because it was illegal in the state of Ohio to serve a drink with more that 2 ounces of liquor. Our server, Meaghan, was very nice and polite and I kindly informed her that was not true. She came back with another server, Sydney, and she said the same. That it was ILLEGAL TO SERVE A DRINK IN THE STATE OF OHIO WITH MORE THAN 2 OUNCES OF LIQUIOR. Sydney said they could put 2 ounces of tequila in my drink and that I could order another 2 ounces separate, but not together - again by state law. Huh? So then the manager, Arthur Morgan, came to our table and explained the same. I have lived in Vermilion for many years and have ordered the same margarita from many, many places along with here. We have lived through many changes at this Quaker Steak and Lube, but this beats them all. You should be careful and, possibly, make sure your staff does not make up Ohio laws without any prior knowledge. I thought you should know.

What absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE. We should have walked out as soon as we talked to the 2 absolutely USELESS hostesses. They had no idea what tables were available and who was serving those tables. We were finally sat at a table to continue waiting 15 minutes before our waitress who walked past our table about 5 times even acknowledged us. Then continued to wait 45 minutes for our lukewarm dinner to come out. Oh and our waitress never asked us if we needed refills or how our food was until we were just about done eating. Worst service we have ever had anywhere. Such a shame.
