Made a lunch stop while enjoying a road trip around Ohio. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger looked like it belonged in a TV commercial. The fries were hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Followed up the burger with a creamy cup of butter pecan ice cream. I do recommend Poppy's Barnyard if you are in the mood for a burger, fries, and ice cream!Kid-friendliness: There was an interactive feature for kids that played barnyard animal sounds.

My family and I were curious of how this place was going to be as we are ice cream aficionados and try a lot of different places on our camping travels. We brought our three kids who love animals. This place actually had buttons on the wall that the kids pressed to hear their favorite animal. Everything was very clean and organized. It was decorated well and had plenty of options when it came to both food and ice cream. The girls up front were very friendly and helpful with helping us pick something. Now that we know the ice cream is good we will be stopping back here again to try the food when the weather gets warmer.Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy this place. Inside has pushbutton farm sound effects with large farm animals and murals to photograph next to. If the kids get loud, you can always take them outside to the outdoor picnic tables to eatParking: About 50 spots if you park in the grass

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, but the barnyard animal sounds are EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious. Even my 2 kids (ages 8 & 10) were complaining. It's a single room so there's no way to avoid it dining in.
