I recently got a job inside Wakeman.... first time ordering. I wasn't feeling good. Ordered soup for my lunch break... drove up there (forgot my wallet at work) they let me take the soup... with JUST my word, that'd I'd come back the next day to pay. (And yes I went back and paid!)But I couldn't believe it... even as I was eating it... it didn't feel real. I'm so thankful! And yes the soup made me feel better
A nice little hometown diner. While we were there, a few patrons had to leave for an emergency. Their beppers went off, and they were gone. The waitress kept their plates warm and watched one guys kids. It was all very cool to see. Breakfast was pretty good too.
The food was okay, but the presentation is very nice. it's in an out-of-the-way place, it is not a well-kept place. Weeds are growing around the outdoor seating. Inside is filthy.
