Been coming here for years from Wooster.
Normally order the baked chicken. Last time I got it off the buffet. Tonight off the menu. The recipe has to have changed because both times it does not look like it used to and is not as tender. Potatoes, dressing and gravy not hot and the dressing was dried out. Gravy was very thin and watery. Very disappointing and won't be back. If you are trying to cut corners this isn't how you do it.
4 of us dined at Der Dutchman on December 27, 2025. We each chose the buffet as our entrees. The food was hot and fresh and the selection exceeded our expectations. Our server was Ruby and she greeted us as soon as we were seated. She was one of the most pleasant servers I have ever had at a restaurant. She kept our drinks refilled and made sure we were happy with our meals. I want to give her a personal thanks for making our meal so delightful.
Excellent breakfast buffet, very clean & our server Marilyn was great. We visit a few times a year and always eat at Der Dutchman. Highly recommended!
