Portions are larger than the example. ice cream is on a par with the Penn State University creamery.
Plenty of dining space, tasty food- I got the reuben sandwich and onion rings, very good! For my family of four, our cost only $24- which was a pleasant surprise.

The Mudd Valley Cafe & Creamery is a charming dining spot located inside a grocery store, offering more than just food. Customers can access the cafe via stairs or an elevator and are greeted by a spacious interior with plenty of seating options, including comfortable booths with a nice view of the store below. The menu features a variety of homestyle dishes, including a popular home-cooked hamburger, sandwiches, burgers, and lunch items. Diners often praise the freshness and tastiness of the food, especially the crispy fries. The cafe also has a topping station, allowing guests to customize their sandwiches and bowls. One popular option is 'The Stack,' a bowl where diners can choose from a variety of toppings and build it to their liking. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, with meals like the bowl and drink costing around $10.30 when eating in. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, making for an overall enjoyable dining experience. Visitors are encouraged to take their time and enjoy the variety of offerings during a morning or lunchtime visit. The ice cream creamery on-site serves up delicious milkshakes and hand-scooped ice cream, made with dairy from a local Ohio supplier.
