“Salad bar was excellent, pickled beets were good if you like cloves, mashed potatoes, green beans delicious. Broasted chicken breast very dry, creamed corn not very flavorful, apple crisp to sweet, baked apples I'm pretty sure had cloves and bread pudding not what I expected. Waitress was great kept our tea glasses full and it was excellent as well as the wheat dinner rolls.“

“This place was fantastic. We were there during the lunch rush and the waitress was still very attentive and friendly. My wife and I got the sampler to share and there wasn't anything on it that I wouldn't order again. We sat at the little table by the bar, near where they cooked the food. I was able to see everything that came out of the kitchen and I wanted a bite of all of it! Will make Bags a have-to- go spot to eat at, because I plan on trying everything on the menu.“

“Came to Berlin for the first time and many folks said this was the best place to dine for lunch, and so we did and folks weren’t kidding. Staff and waitresses were real kind and gave us time to decide our dishes before deciding for a buffet lunch. So worth it. If you were coming to Berlin from great distance, stop by and have a lunch. I recommend a buffet if you’re craving for little bit of everything (especially the salad portion, but if you’re in for a quick lunch, the restaurant’s got menu’s too.“

Enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible except it's quite a maneuver to use the restrooms. It takes two to open the door. “The atmosphere is a little wierd, but the food is excellent. You order at a counter and they give you salsa(amazing) and chips, then they bring it to you. No wait staff and emptying your plates into the garbage was old school, but the food portions and value was worth it.“

“This was our first place we went to for a meal when we got to Amish Country. I got the roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn. Delish!! My husband, Mark, got the meatloaf , mashed potatoes, and corn. They served dinner rolls with the meal and I wanted to eat all of them ...delish!! We split a piece of pecan pie. It was good and not as sweet as some I have had. We would definitely recommend the place!!“
