The people are so peppy, friendly and quick to get what you need.
This place and Frankie’s pizza is about the only place I eat out. I never get disappointed everywhere else I won’t even spend my money.

Family friendly and excellent barbecue. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating and they also have a creamery in a separate building nearby. Slightly chaotic and a little loud but well worth the drive and the atmosphere.

The food was fantastic! My husband and I were in the area for a quick weekend getaway. We decided to try this place out for dinner. It was so good. The greens are some of the best I've had. The pulled pork and brisket were so delicious and the sauces were phenomenal. We finished with ice cream at the creamery. I had coconut cream pie and buttermilk pie ice cream both were fantastic. We may have to come back to the area so I can try more food. The staff were friendly and helpful it was my favorite meal of the trip!

We have used Cockeyes several times for catering company events. Experience and service has always been 1000/10. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. Even leftovers reheat beautifully without drying out.

Best BBQ in the area. The Cajun catfish is incredible. The owner makes himself visible and will engage in conversation with the guests, great guy and loves his restaurant. The creamery next door has the best ice cream as well. Highly recommend.

DELICIOUS. Had collards and smoked turkey breast sandwich. Both were very good. Place was crowded but they kept folks moving through like a well oiled machine. The service was very friendly, even as bombarded as they were. Welcomed folks on and were very accommodating.

Delicious
We were traveling from MI to WV and started having car issues. We ended up at a shop that recommended this place. It was on walking distance. The food was some of the best BBQ we ever had. The service was excellent and fast and the beer was cold. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone that breaks down in the area!!

Food is delicious
Love everything we get from here. All the BBQ and the creamery.
Got a two meat plate. Brisket (Extra charge) and chicken. I got cajun fries and cheesy potatoes as sides. Out of those 4 items I would only get the cheesy potatoes again. In total all of that, a drink, and some fried pickles cost me over 40$. The brisket was dry as was the chicken even with sauce. The fries were just loaded with cajun and were overcooked and yet again dry. For 40 some dollars you'd expect better than that.
By far the best barbecue I've had up north it's not as good as the barbecue down south in Texas but it's good I'll definitely be back and they know how to make some good sweet tea lol
Always amazing food.
