What a great place. Went in this evening the fried fish is awesome. I had a grilled chicken salad and of course the rhubarb pie was out of this world. Got a steak sandwich to go and my husband loved it. Will be back
My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant weekly. Now that he is in a nursing home I still go every chance I get. “Mom” makes the best homemade pies anywhere! Fries rival every fair in the state. You cannot find a better waitstaff anywhere! So friendly they make you feel like family. I am very particular about where I drink coffee. I have eaten breakfast here several times and never been disappointed with the food or the service. It has a neighborhood atmosphere that is both friendly and very welcoming. The cook is excellent! The sausage gravy and biscuits along with the grilled home fries are the very best you will find anywhere! You can get practically any omelet made to order. If you’re looking for a good breakfast at a reasonable price... this is the place!
