Great family owned restaurant! If you want delicious soul food this is your place. My favorite is their fried catfish Mac&cheese and greens! They also have tasty desserts. Their sweet potato pie is the best & pound cake !

Great place, great people. It's hard to find good soul food on the road up north sometimes. But today we found a gem. My family ate good today. If you are ever in Warren, Ohio make sure you get a plate to go!!!! I will be back!!

Called and placed 2 order for wing ding dinners at 6p, they told me food should be done on 45-60min. Went up there to wait at 7p and let them know I had arrived, I was told my order was coming up and will be ready shortly. I continued to wait and was told again around 7:15 that it was being made and not too much longer. At 7:30p still waiting and being the last to be inside I was told they had ran out of wings! Stated they could substitute it for thighs or breast. Atp I was pissed! Not only did I wait all that time and wasted my time, I was assured more than once that my order was being made and was coming up. They could’ve told me they ran out sooner instead of lying. While me and 4children sat waiting for nothing

This is the best smoked bbq meat I've had in a loooong time. Love that it is family run and operated. Open Thursday- Sunday. I got the tips meal with Mac n cheese and fried okra, I got the seafood medley... sooo good. Hush puppies, corn nuggets, chicken and rack of ribs. So much food.... we will definitely be back!

I just had one of the best meals I have ever had from a restaurant. I have lived in Warren my whole life, and didn’t know about this gem of a place! The food was so good, catfish, chicken, ribs, cornbread, cornbread dressing, banana pudding and some amazing greens! The flavored lemonade was refreshing and flavorful and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely had a great meal at a very reasonable price. You can tell everything is homemade, and done right! Do yourself a favor and order in, carry out whatever….next time no one wants to pick where to go…choose this place. It’s now on my radar and will be a go-to dinner location. I would have added an extra star if I could have. 6/5 Stars from me
Whatever you do don’t get the black eye peas, they were very watery & the peach cobbler barely had any peaches. Made me pay for another peach cobbler after we had discussed yesterday that there were know peaches in the one from yesterday, offered to bring it back so they could see it but still had to pay for another one. Plus they forgot two sweet potato pies on yesterday. Bad experience.
