I had not eaten at Doubledays for several years. The last meal I had there was less than good, and the service...even more questionnable. At friends request, I met them for dinner last night (3/20/2024). I was most pleasantly surprised, and from the inception of our seating, the server was TOP-NOTCH! Karyn Konicki is her name, as I asked her before I left. She not only recommended an excellent chicken sandwich, did not forget that I wanted a couple of the sandwich add-ons put on the side rather than on the sandwich, but was more than on her game at making sure that I had something to drink, checking to make sure my and my groups food was good, asking if I/we needed anything (several times), and was not gruff like so many servers are today. You have an ABOVE PAR server here! I travel a lot for work, interact with many servers at countless restaurants from Boston to Dana Point, CA, and this girl is far and away the BEST I have had the pleasure of being served by. If I were your managerial staff, I would not let this girl go anywhere else, I would cerainly take good care of her, she is a genuine asset to your eatery! SHE is the reason that I will make this a new regular restaurant to frequent, and will invite friends to do just the same.........and when I do, I will most certainly ask to be served by her and will wait for an opening in her section. Went here for lunch. The food was okay, but we felt a bit rushed to order something because of our waitress. We were seated in the corner, so we didn't get a feel for the ambiance. The KOBE Burger tasted like any regular Burger. The Cowboy was a huge, bigger than the KOBE.

Bad customer service. When we got our food we immediately asked for boxes and left. It was just a weird experience , and just really uncomfortable.

Ordered the small Grecian Pizza. Great and fast service. Price was in line with other pizza locations in the area. Selection and quality of items on the menu are worth it. No wonder they always have a crowd.

It was so cold in there everyone was eating with coats on. When asking the hostess and waitress they both just smiled and said yes it is! Come on heat please! The food is good but won't go back until summer!

Ordered carry out. Showed up on time and gave my number to both girls working carry out. After waiting over 30 minutes and watching car after car come and go I decided to go in. Found out they gave me the wrong order number. Finally got my order and got home 45 minutes after the food was done. Food was cold. Carry out process was a complete disaster. Nobody seemed to know what was going on.

We decided to try this restaurant while in Dayton and we had a fantastic lunch. The food was excellent, the portions were large and the service was great.

Double Days is always a good go to for a casual meal and not a chain place , always a good selection of menu items and they have killer pizza that's delicious! I've eaten here since they originally opened their first restaurant years ago .
