Very cool little dive bar! Beer is cold! Cheese fries are amazing. The reuben i was a little disappointed with, not the greatest in my opinion. The service is top-notch and the white chili is awesome! Thanks for all that you do!

Fun restaurant that we tend to forget about. Have never been here when the place wasn’t hopping! Mixed menu - some Mexican American, some fish, burgers, sandwiches, salads. They’re famous for their white chicken chili (which is delicious). While I’ve never had it, people rave their lobster Mac n Cheese. I had my usual 3rd Street salad (mixed greens, pecans, dried cherries, mozzarella) - very generous salad (I can never finish it). Hubs had the turkey Rueben with sweet potato fries. Their deserts always look good but I never have room. Oh well.
Decor is a hoot - over the top coastal kitsch. If I had small children we’d spend the meal time playing “I spy with my little eyes”

Service was good. Our waitress was attentive. Ask for suggestions and she suggested the perch off the lunch menu. It was three pieces of perch and two sides. I love lake perch and I was really excited until I got the meal. The Perch tasted like it had been fried yesterday and refried or baked today to bring it back up to temperature. Very little flavor and the breading was tough and chewy. The texture was dry and rubbery. Taste a lot like when I reheat something in my air fryer. The wife got the steak burger and she said it was delicious. Looked good. Hand-formed Patty. She got tots with hers. She said the tots were as expected. We've eaten here before and have received good food and great service. I would not deter from coming. However, be wary of The Perch if it's being recommended. I was unable to finish eating it!

I don't usually give out 5's, but this place totally deserved it. Ordered a steak burger (mid rare) and it came out juicy and mid rare. We also had the pecan salmon, loaded fries, and beer batter onion rings, everything was AWESOME. The server (Darhel) was pleasant and had some good recommendations since this was my first time here cause I was traveling. I will be back when I'm back in Ohio, would recommend this place

They must have lost their chef or something because most of the photos here look really good, and people seem to like it. The clam chowder was gelatin. The waitress was seriously offended when I spoke to her privately about it and asked for something else after 2 bites. She was argumentative, but agreed to swap it out. The other part of my order was 2 tacos, it was not taco day or anything, but how can you mess up tacos? The meet was 50/50 beef and straight chile powder. I tried to stomach as much as I could to appear like everything was OK, but eating just the lettuce, it clearly wasnt. The taco shells were cold and hard, not even warmed. Wow. I'm not here to bring down an establishments review rating, and the onion rings appetizer was terrific, but I have not experienced food this bad in a few years. Another person at the table only ate 2 bites of their grilled cheese. I didn't want to ask.. seems like other reviews recent are similar. Hopefully they can get back to the old way and find a chef because it looked like a cool place.

I came for good chicken tenders and fries. I didn’t order them because I’m a picky eater. I came with a specific craving and mindset, knowing you make your dipping sauces from scratch. You used to have the best hand breaded tenders around. Fries, you switched to an even cheaper Gordon’s product to go with the cheap oil. But cutting a $15 Chicken Tender basket out of Random Chicken Breast, and proceeding to dry drop in flour? I’d rather have pre done tenders knowing they are advertised as tenders. I hope this was a one time thing. Hopefully, the kitchen has AC, as I see you have been closing early due to heat. Keep food good. Keep good staff happy. Prices go up, that’s fine. Please don’t cut corners. I pay for good food done right. Thankfully, the service is always top notch.
