I was so excited when I found out there was an A&W in Wauseon Ohio! I have always loved their dogs and root beer! A co-worker and I went there about 12:30 for lunch and it was immediately evident that they are extremely under staffed. The same nice lady was working both the front counter and the drive through window. While we were in line, we heard her tell several people that they were "out" of various things, one of which was MUSTARD. How does a restaurant whose staple item is hot dogs, run out of mustard? There were minutes on end that the lady would disappear. There was a young man working food prep who seemed clueless, and at one point the nice counter lady told him that he had given the wrong drive through order to the wrong customer (who had obviously not checked her bag and had driven off).This is one of those "split" restaurants, where half is an A&W and the other half is a KFC. I ordered 2 chili dogs and a large diet root beer. My co-worker ordered from the KFC side, and got a 2 piece meal. The receipt said that is was 12:48 when paid for our food. We then proceeded to stand a FULL 20 minutes for our food to be served.While we were waiting, my co-worker went to find us a table. There were only about 6 other people in the restaurant, so there were plenty of open tables, except, not a single one had been wiped, and they were all covered in crumbs and food droppings from people who had eaten before us. My co-worker went and got some napkins and ice from the pop machine to wipe a table for us.When our food was ready I carried the tray to our table. Both of my chilidogs were stuffed into KFC nugget boxes. They probably ran out of A&W hotdog containers. My co-worker said that one piece of his chicken was dry and seemed like it was old. The other piece was passable. I opened the nugget boxes to reveal the chili dogs stuffed in there. They were not what I expected. Visually they were not appealing. They were puny little hot dogs, on small buns, and the sauce was terrible. There were just a few tiny shards of onions. This was no where near the quality you would expect from A&W I half wonder if they had not also run out of hot dogs, buns and chili sauce, and ran to the local grocery store and just bought whatever they could find. It is plausible... they were out of mustard after all.Sadly, while I am still working in Wauseon, I won't be spending my lunch dollars here again. The poor lady who was running both the front counter and the drive through was nice. The root beer was good. That's about all the good I can say, unfortunately.

First off, this is a KFC/A&W location. I just stopped by to use a Christmas donation coupon before it expired, getting a couple of "Famous Bowls". The food was fine, and the service was adequate, but not particularly friendly. The location, however looked pretty bad. The dining room looked like no one cleaned it for hours, the kitchen looked disorganized and sloppy, and the lot outside needed cleaned up. I'm glad the food was okay, because the store's appearance made me feel a little uneasy. I won't be going back until I notice some effort to clean up the premises.

We ordered two five piece chicken tender dinners. When we got home the tenders, fries and onion rings were way overcooked. We wound up having peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner after dropping $25 there as we had to throw away our purchase. We're through with KFC‼️

We went there the night before Thanksgiving. We were the only people in line or in the parking lot and we were asked to wait several minutes before we could order. After I paid. I was asked to pull into a spot, and waited over 15 minutes. I expected my food to be fresh for that kind of wait. I was sorely disappointed when the burger and cheese curds were far from warm. The slice of tomato was also the very top - like the brown part where the stem grows.Not sure if I would return based on this experience.

We stopped in on our way back home Cuz we don't get a&w 2 often and than after we ordered our food they said it was carried out only which was fine bt I was just sitting down waiting 4 the food and than they got mad. All I was doing was waiting 4 my food than I ordered cheese fries and cheese curds and they both tasted like they were sitting awhile they weren't very good.
Our coney dogs was shoved in hamburger boxes, so when you went to pick them up out of the box they fell apart. My onion rings were no rings all pieces, and the container was only 1/2 full. The worse $30 I have spent in a long time

This restaurant is a KFC / AW combo. It was a very dirty restaurant, actually, filthy. We wanted to order 6 chicken tenders only. No sides. All they had was the 5 piece combo meal for $9.98. We asked if we could pay for an extra chicken tender, minus the sides. They charged us $14.38 for 6 tenders and no sides. WHAT THE HECK!! They were very rude about this horrible transaction. We used our card not realizing what they had charged. The second we realized, we asked to cancel the order and refund our card. They said they couldn't do that. So we ended up with 6 chicken tenders, NOTHING ELSE, for a total of $15.42. I am livid!!!

Absolutely filthy. The door wasn't working so had to wait for the cashier to come let us in. Floors, doors, tables literally everything was sticky. The catch tray in the pop machine hadn't been emptied in what appeared to be months, pop spilling out onto the counter and floor. Bathroom was a disaster, sticky also. Not a single table or chair was clean. Order took forever and still came out wrong. Shame, this used to be one of my favorite spots in town.

Went there tonight..... Was told they were out of friend chicken... Original and spicy. Only had tenders,.. went to order off the A&W menu... A1 was then told no burgers. I decided didn't want nothing and told the girl on the talk box... "Be a good place to build a KFC!"
