Nice little town atmosphere, great food
Some Place Else is a hidden gem in Wellsville! They treat you like family and everyone knows your name here! The food is delicious and all home made! The owners are wonderful and come out to talk to us and give us a hug when we come to eat! The portions are huge and the atmosphere is super friendly!

Seen a review and figured weโd give some place else a try. While the service was decent and the food was pretty good the building itself inside is not the best. The table cloths are nasty and look like they been on the tables for 30 years. The layout is also pretty stupid.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and I can't tell you how great an experience it was! We walked in to the funniest waitress I've ever met. The food was awesome. Even the other patrons sitting around us were super friendly. It was like a big family dinner to be honest. I love absolutely everything about this place!

Was almost bummed because we had the wrong address but we found our way and so glad we did.
Indecisive as is, we were greeted by the owner/ cook Janet who made it even more difficult to choose after giving us the run down of the menu. Although we had their breakfast in mind (which they serve ALL day), we ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes, freshly cut French fries with a side of gravy, fried pickles(which we ended up ordering more of), made to order Mac and cheese, and a bacon and cheese omelet with home fries, peppers and onions. Not to mention, this was all before we had taste tests (Janet insisted) of the chicken and dumpling soup, French toast, and a pancake.
The food came out hot, fresh, and fast. The portions were generous, the GRAVY was gravy-ing, and the pickiest eater in the bunch not only got something outside her usual but she ate everything on her plate in its entirety (also asked for more gravy). All the waitresses were super attentive and worked together to make sure nobody needed anything. Everything was so good, it was only right the other two cooks came out to make an appearance so we can thank them ourselves.
The people feel like home. The food taste like home. Get the GRAVYYY.
Donโt forget to stop behind the building for some beautiful views including the Veteranโs Memorial.
Already thinking about the soup & how the 2 hour drive would be worth it!!

We recommend this restaurant! The food, service, price are all great! The staff makes sure you are taken care of and the owners come to your table directly to check on you. It's a "Cheers" atmosphere... you're glad when you come, glad when you leave and know you're welcome Anytime! ๐
