We've been dining here for years and the service is usually spot on, as is the food. 12/9/25 though service while friendly was inattentive - refills had to be asked for, box and check had to be asked for. Server checked in once after bringing dishes to the table. Only assuming the server is new.
Secondly the food was a bit of a let down - my wife consistently orders the chicken Dijon rolled pita. The rolled pita today was much smaller than in all other previous visits. My son and I both ordered the Genie's combo plate, which we always get because of chicken mishwi which is chicken thigh. The chicken this evening appeared to be a combination of chicken mishwi and chicken tender/chicken breast meat which is dry compared to the chicken thigh.
We will chalk this up as a one-off as we really enjoy the food and typical dining experience but today did not hit the mark.

Our server, Miriam, while being new and 16, did a very good job. She was polite, attentive and friendly, although she was not 100% educated on menu items. The other staff that we interacted with were also nice.
The decor is nice but not very Lebanese.
The bathroom floor was a bit dirty, which is to say they cleaned it with a dirty mop, and they only provide an air blower to dry your hands. I have poor hand circulation, so I try to avoid them because the length of time it takes to heat up so that it stops hurting is long.
The menu is one of the most interesting I've ever seen. It shares some tidbits about Lebanese culture and provides modest education about healthy eating. It's colorful, complete (except desserts), and extensive without being confusingly so. It has a combo of traditional and modern items, IINM. I would argue that there could be improvement over the understanding of healthy eating.
My son and sister really enjoyed most of the many things they tried. For myself, I had the V-9 and 1/2 lentil and chili soups; the former was nothing special to me and reminded me of soups I've made from scratch except that it had parsley in it, while the latter was fine but not exceptional.
I also had Jasmine's favorite with the veggies added on top. It was fairly bland without the dressing and I ended up putting 2 Za'atar sauce and some Aladdin's sauce on it, too, before I found it to be flavorful. The portion was generous. Both dressings were VERY oily and I had to take a few antacids to counteract that.
The free pita bread is a variety I've never had before that became cold and dry quickly because it's so thin, but at least it has whole wheat flour in it. I prefer Greek pitas, but they use refined flour.
We had the appetizer platter, which was nice.
The tabouli was ok but I've had different kinds of that salad that tasted better.
The falafel was finely ground and tasty but too salty, which I don't like AND I am not able to safely consume much salt and sodium.
The hummus was fresh and tasted mildly of peanuts. It was nice.
The Baba ganoush was somewhat smoky and slightly chunky.
The garlic lemon sauce was good and took some of the edge off of the falafel.
The Dawali (stuffed grape leaves) were also enjoyable.
I tried my son's tuna shawarma roll, which was pretty tasty. He did a disappearing trick on it. ;) I didn't order fish because of the fact that predatory fish contain way more poisons and heavy metals than prey fish due to bio-accumulation from the prey fish that the predators eat.
My sister really enjoyed her Genie's combo plate.
This is the first Middle Eastern restaurant in the area that I've been to.

The three of us ate lunch at Alladin‘s. The Good News: 1. The restaurant has a good location and plenty of parking. 2. The server was very pleasant and prompt. 3. The atmosphere is conducive to dining. The Not-So-Good News: 1. The Schwarma was touch and gristly. 2. The meals were bland, hardly any spicing (as one would expect for Lebanese food). 3. The overall value was average.
Best eatery in all the lands!!!!!

The food, at least the time I went there, was horrible. I got a chicken shawarma, and the chicken came out charred and burnt, but otherwise tasteless. The pita it was wrapped it in was also crunchy and burnt. There was no tomato until the very end where I bit into a mouthful of tomato. Service was fine and the atmosphere was actually great, but my food was just horrible.
I'm guessing the meat and pitas were cooking way too long. I was even more surprised that the food came out like this because the restaurant was absolutely empty and had staff sitting down at tables doing nothing when we walked in.

The food at Aladdin's Eatery in West Chester is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the exceptional management and the positive, uplifting environment they've created for their young staff.
We visited on 10/5/25 and were immediately greeted by a group of smiling, welcoming teenagers who clearly enjoy being there. It was so refreshing to see such genuine enthusiasm and kindness from young employees. It really says a lot about how they’re being led. You can see the manager’s influence in their confidence, professionalism, and overall happiness. That kind of positive leadership is rare and deserves to be recognized.
As a parent who just had to pull my daughter from a job due to poor management, it was heartening to witness the complete opposite here. It gives me hope to see a workplace where teens are treated with respect, mentored, and encouraged to grow.
A huge shoutout to the team at Aladdin's West Chester, especially the management, for not only delivering great food, but also cultivating such a supportive and empowering atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back!

I first had this food at a catered lunch menu and it was so good. I had to ask where it was from. This visit was my first chance to go in person and pick my own selections, and I was not disappointed! Wrap with added cucumber with a side of their creamy hot sauce, and a side dish of their basmati rice with toasted nuts and cinnamon on top. I have to say that this shawarma was great. I often run into places that use small pieces of dry chicken, and this was the absolute opposite of that. Big pieces of juicy grilled chicken combined with all of the expected and tasty toppings, along with a simple but well executed basmati rice side, made for a really great lunch experience!
