Broken Egg Cafe was an alright experience. Overall, it was clear this place is focused on turning over customers as quickly as possible at the expense of customer service. Our waitress had six or more tables and only checked on us once the entire meal. I'd be okay if the food was notable, but it wasn't. I got half a cup of coffee and my English muffin was soggy. I asked for and yet did not get a coffee refill. It might be good for some, but I won't be returning.

This is my new go-brunch joint. I love, love, loved! my experience here. The Lemon French Toast was heavenly, and the Biscuit sandwich made me want to live there. The prices were fair and the portions huge. I went on the weekend so we did have to wait a little bit for seating, but it wasn't bad. My only real compliment was how loud it was. I had a little bit of difficulty hearing my friend across the table, but that was just due to the number of folks around us. I live on the other side of town and will happily drive to meet a friend here. Absolutely delightful restaurant.

If you do not schedule ahead, good luck with that! People need to start planning ahead of time instead of being rude to the incredible staff here expecting an immediate walk in. To say it’s busy is undercutting that phrase entirely. Food is so good, I order two entree’s and stacked them with a side of chicken strips. The BROKEN EGG Biscuit Sandwich is delectable. (Which already has chicken strips lol) Also, huge bonus tip! Their online menu is the ONLY restaurant I have been to that shows ALL food with an accompanying image. Hiring a proper photographer was a smart business choice. Get in here!

We walked in this morning just to ask how long to wait would be and the younger girl at the hostess booth was not inviting at all. When asked how long the wait would be, she rolled her eyes, and asked how many so quietly that I said excuse me? She said for 5? I said for 3, she said fine we’ll seat you now and made another girl do it as she stood there with her back against the wall. This was the first time we have ever visited, was hopeful to have a nice breakfast with my family but unfortunately I will not be going back. We also sat for 20 minutes at the table that they sat us at and no one even came by to even ask our drink orders. I understand help is scarce but manners should not be.

The food was ok not great. The $ 3.50 upcharge for a small cup of unripe sour fruit was ridiculous. My veggie omelette was 17.50 and they forgot to put the tomatoes in it. I have no problem paying for a great breakfast but this was not the case. Very disappointed with the experience. With all of the great places in the area this is not one we will be returning to anytime soon.
