Other than my home and my place of work…. There are a select few places that I really really love going to. THIS IS ONE OF THEM! When they opened in 2013 it was a great day. I remember meeting the owner and her telling me about their handcrafted syrups, no artificial sweeteners, they carried my favorite local organic coffee brand and then in the pastry case….. my favorite paleo doughnuts that are to die for!!!!!! These people and this place is great. IYKYK!

Came here because I heard it was kid friendly (toys provided by Cavu) and came to meet a friend. It’s often hard to find places like this when you have children. The coffee was great but the staff was rude. It was very clear their intentions for kids was for them to be seen, but not heard. I understand toddlers can be loud, but my child was simply making coffee grinding noises while using the children’s coffee machine toy provided and he was told by the staff he needed to be quiet. Mind you I had another customer just come tell me how cute he was playing. This was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend if you’re a parent. I wanted to badly to have a good experience and to support a small business but they have lost my service due to their staff not the product.

LOVED Cavu coffee. Stop at small coffee shops all over, often, and Cavu was memorable for the right reasons. Very good coffee. Good vibes. Very friendly service. Didn’t have any of the baked goods, but wanted to b/c they’re all made in house. 9/10 would go back and go out of way to do so. And likely will.

Cavu’s prices are usually lower than Starbucks, but I paid $3.95 for a small Americano at Cavu — which is more expensive than both Starbucks and even Cavu’s own latte. I asked the unsmiling cashier why the Americano costs more than the latte, and she curtly replied, “Inflation.” I couldn’t help but wonder — why does inflation affect the Americano but not the other drinks?

I like this place, I do. Just know it’s not a “run in for a quick cup of coffee” kind of place. I always wait a pretty long time. Maybe be cause their coffee is very tasty? Anyway, if you want a leisurely latte, this place is great!!
The general service that you get in the morning is outstanding. Whether it's Madison, Hannah, Sarah, Morgan, Jordan and others they always seem to have a connection with each customer if time permits. I come in and get a honey latte with a parfait for my wife and as soon as I walk in it's an inviting atmosphere. It gets my day started the right way.

We stopped in while traveling on I-75 and we are very glad we stopped. It is a very legit coffee shop, has the normal espresso style drinks, but also single origin pour over options including syphon brew as well, something many coffee shops do not offer.
Baristas were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had.
If you are in the area and enjoy a quality cup of coffee, give them a chance you won't regret it.

Great place and fully support, the strawberry mocha latte had really strong flavoring that I couldn’t taste the coffee too well. But what coffee I could taste was great, hope they tweak the ratio a bit!

Our family has been coming to Cavu for years! The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. The lattes and coffee drinks are the best we have found! All syrups are handmade…not a pump syrup to be found! The coffee itself is delicious but the caramel latte, butterscotch latte, peppermint iced coffee and eggnog latte are our favorites!! As an added bonus, I work for a local school district and they volunteer their time and provide delicious coffee drinks to our staff on a regular basis.
