I recently visited Desi Bites in Cincinnati, and their special pulao's and special biryanis on weekends were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—a must-visit for biryani lovers in cincinnati.

Good place and one of the better options among the Indian restaurants out there. Relatively affordable. Tried DB chicken, chicken fry biryani, irani chai, dahi puri, Mysore bajji on different occasions. Except for Mysore bajji, rest of them were good. DB chicken is a must try. Wouldn't order bajji here again, they were soggy.

Mango lassi is a hit or miss. 2/4 times got stale ones so had to throw it away. This happened for an online order.

I ordered mutton biryani for takeout, and upon checking, it was clear that the biryani was burnt, full of masala residue, and seemed like leftover food from the previous day. When I called the restaurant to report the issue, they kept arguing that it was fresh and not from yesterday. Eventually, they compensated with a new mutton biryani, which looked and tasted much better. You can clearly see the difference in the attached photos.

Additionally, the front desk girl was extremely rude, showing attitude as if it wasn’t their mistake, and they didn’t even offer an apology. This is the second time this has happened to me. A word of advice to customers: if you’re picking up food early in the day (between 12-3 PM, soon after the restaurant opens), there’s a high chance you might receive leftover food from the previous day.

Tea taste is fantastic

The cashier lady in the food section was incredibly rude. I’m not sure if she’s the owner or something, but everything else about the store is great. The food is always delicious, and I’ve been there eight times and never had an issue with anyone else. The only thing I hate is her, even my friends.

Ordered and paid online. When we reached for pick up, they said they were out of one item. They were willing to give the money back as cash but tried to give less back. That was sneaky. Food did not taste good either. Will not recommend.

I bought take away order for poori bhaji today evening around 8:00 pm and it came out that it’s aaloo ki bhaji was stale and smelling when I started eating it after 2 hours of buying it

I ordered Chicken 65 from this restaurant, and it was miles away from what it’s supposed to be. The dish lacked flavor and didn’t even resemble proper Chicken 65. I think they just gave me whatever was available and labeled it as Chicken 65. I also ordered bonda, which wasn’t good at all. The chutney they provided was way too little, and the green chutney was cold and tasted spoiled—I had to throw it away.

The tea used to be good in the beginning, but now it just tastes like plain milk & loaded sugar.

The worst part is the atmosphere. The place has unpleasant food smells, and if you stay inside for even a few minutes, the smell sticks to your clothes. I won’t be going back.

Dosa and coffee were great but found other dinner entrees to be more average. Very crowded and not a place for sit down dinner to enjoy. More of a pickup place.
