*********** Unacceptable Food Preparation – Needs Immediate Improvement***********

I’m extremely disappointed with how my waché was prepared. Instead of putting the shito (hot sauce) and tomato sauce in separate containers as is the standard in every reputable Ghanaian restaurant—they dumped both directly on top of the rice and beans and even mixed it with the gari. The result? A dish so overwhelmingly spicy that it became completely inedible.

Not everyone eats spicy food, and this level of negligence shows a complete lack of care for customer preference. The proper way is simple: separate containers for sauces, so each customer can season their food as they choose.

This is not just a bad experience it’s unacceptable. It’s clear the quality and attention to detail have dropped significantly. If management cares about returning customers and building a solid reputation, this needs to be fixed immediately.

The food was SO SO GOOD! was literally licking my fingers afterwards Chai!!! The jollof with the fried chicken was amazing. Will definitely be coming back thanks.

Order food on 8/28. I live an hour away by time my brother got there to get our food, 2 Palava Sauce with CHICKEN, they couldn’t find the order. They claim they had one ready and one not ready . Once we finally receive our food (after driving another 45 minutes back home, I realized they gave us the wrong order. We received Palava with FISH AND GOAT. I do not eat fish nor goat since they are both disgusting to me. I called to let them know they messed up my order and I was HUNG UP ON when I asked to simply return the food and get a refund.
If your looking for good authentic African, with decent service I suggest going else where so you do not waste $50 because we threw it in the nearest trash can.

What an awesome place.
Totally authentic and they make it fresh so expect a wait but expect great flavors and taste.
Met the owner and she was a blessing.
Will go back soon!!

They need to say hello when people walk in at bare minimum cause that's tacky, but the food I've ordered in my times coming here has been good for African food and soul food in Ohio. Just need to work on customer service.

For the most part a good food experience. I wouldn’t get the turkey tails again because they’re cooked a little too hard so there wasn’t much meat but everything else is great especially the Banku & Tilapia. A little on the pricey side even for the sides but everything tastes pretty good & seasoned well.

When I first started going there the food was absolutely delicious! The last 2 times I ordered, the original owner was not there. The young lady that’s in there is not good. I ordered okra soup and fufu and the okra was like wooden stalks and my beef was as hard as steel. So I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Today I ordered palm nut soup and fufu and it is completely watered down! I’m so over this place until the owner is back and cooking again! Very disappointed!
