Holtman's Donuts

Nice donut shop with one other location. Had 4 vegan cake donut options when we went. All have the vanilla cake donut as the base: plain vanilla cake donut, vanilla cake donut with chocolate frosting, vanilla cake donut with Oreo topping, vanilla cake donut with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Tasty donuts at a good price. Holtman’s vegan cake donuts kind of remind me of an Entenmann’s donut or at least how I remembered an Entenmann’s donut tasted. We'll be back for more!

Let me make one thing clear - the donuts are always top notch delicious & the staff is always amazing. The reason for the three stars & not 5 is because their hours of operation suck. So many times I’ve wanted to come in here and they are closed but the location in Loveland is open daily until 10 PM. The West Chester area is just as busy as Loveland so I don’t understand why they can’t have the same hours at all locations.

Service was mediocre.. sort of seemed like we were an inconvenience. Wish the donuts were labeled- would have helped speed up the ordering process. All of this being said, the donuts we ordered were delicious.

The lady running the store appeared to be inconvenienced by us being there. She appeared to be teaching a new hire, but that's really no excuse. The donuts seemed undercooked? They tasted doughy. My kids didn't even eat their donuts which says a lot.

We were looking for coffee and stopped here. They don't have a huge coffee selection but the coffee is pretty good for the selection there is! The doughnuts are so good! I definitely recommend stopping by if you are either in the area, or passing by!

Fantastic selection of donuts! Get yourself a vegan one with glaze or a regular blueberry, even the éclairs are fantastic!

We arrived late in the day so the selections were limited but the lady was pleasant in explaining the flavors left. We opted for the glazed cronut and the blackberry filled for St. Patty’s Day. While the donut was well filled, it was lacking berry taste. We did enjoy adding the filling to the cronut to bring the extra sweetness. The cronut was well layered and both donuts were fresh and soft.

Drove up from Louisville for IKEA and also to try these donuts.
The online hours stated they close at 5pm on Sundays
I arrived at 4:15pm and the store was closed?
I check instagram to see if they had posted holiday hours and they haven’t.

This was my first time experiencing delicious American donuts haha. There is a menu similar to raw donuts. What kind of stick is it called? The staff is also very friendly. If I were nearby, I would go every day.

The kid behind the counter was so unenthused.
We would ask him questions and he would say, "Yep".
After we paid for the donuts he pushed the box to us and walked to the back room.
Wow...great service
Donuts:
Extremely sugary.
Every frosting and filling was max sugar.
Hard to taste any flavors over the sugar.

I stopped in to the Loveland location late on a Saturday last week while in the area visiting family. I went in around 9:15pm and they were closing at 10pm. I did not expect a huge selection or for them to be perfectly fresh. However, they were all pretty stale and I was still charged the full price. Maybe consider lowering prices in the last hour or 30 minutes of being open as the product is definitely no longer fresh. I am disappointed about the price not the freshness. The doughnuts here are already very expensive compared to other small shops. First time in all my years of getting doughnuts from Holtmans that I have been disappointed. I am 50 and have been going to the Loveland location as long as I can remember.

Friendly staff. Great selections, with lots of cake and yeast, basic and fancy varieties to choose from. Attractive space, clean restrooms.
