Bhindi Masala was mostly onions and green bell peppers… very little Bhindi. Garlic naan was hard, crunchy and cold. The rice was clumped together and unappetizing. The waiter didn’t return my correct amount of change (when I paid my bill). So I left a 23.5% tip vs 30%. Also, the waiter sat me in the corner. I would have preferred if he asked me where I wanted to sit! There was another couple inside and they had a nice seat in the middle.

I decided to surprise her and I was blown away. Portions where very generous and we are most definitely going back!! The Tandoori Chicken here is the best I’ve ever had. It’s a perfect blend of vegetables and spice with the most tender and flavorful pieces of chicken. It’s not dry like what I’ve had in other restaurants in this area. And I love the owners and staff. Mike and Rosie are the perfect hosts and bartenders and the servers Elizabeth and Uma are polite and always ready to help and answer questions.
I moved away from the area in 2019 and was recently back for a friend’s wedding and this was my first stop because I missed it so much. It truly felt like visiting an old friend. I’ve always had great service. It’s very warm and personable. The food is excellent. I truly can’t say enough good things about Indian Spice Train, the staff and owners.
This is, hands down, the BEST Indian food we've found east of the Mississippi. And the owners are so welcoming and friendly! This is one of our favourite restaurants. It's a bit of a drive for us to get there -- but sooo worth it!
