The place is currently closed for renovations. No mention of this on their website. Arrived there expecting to have a meal and were quite disappointed. A message on your website would be appreciated.

Very awkward experience, went with one of my friends and there was no one to greet us and so we sat ourselves, atmosphere was very uncomfortable - half the lights were shut off and there was a bunch of tv’s that were shut off and no music playing, waitress was nice but there was only one so service was slow and the food took even longer to arrive, most of the stuff we tried to order they didn’t have, it took about 40 minutes for my food to show up and it took another 20 for my friends food. When the food got here it was very average, nothing special and didn’t taste that great, I got the gimbap and the rice was very hard and the filling wasn’t very good but the mulmandu wasn’t too bad. I probably wouldn’t come here again though, spent a lot of money for a very less than ideal experience.

I arrived in the parking lot at about 5:45 with the lights on, but the open sign off. Walked in anyway and found they were in fact open. I sat down and asked to order their seafood udon from the menu. The waitress stammered for a moment as I asked if that was ok. She said it was.Found it odd the back of the store wasn’t lit while I waited. Eventually I was served and my dish was ok, but it didn’t have the flavor I was used to in other restaurants. I saved an oyster for last and I cracked it open and put it in my mouth too late to realize it was raw. This was brought to the chef’s attention and she told me it was probably alright and that cooking seafood wasn’t really her area of expertise and to order the beef in the future. I understand that she recently had to take operations over and was new to all this, but for the sake of my health, if you don’t know how to make something, take it off the menu (especially if it is seafood!).

Food was very hit or miss. The bibibop came without rice and little to no seasoning and was watery. The server didn't introduce themselves and just stood staring at us while we looked at the menu. We said we were still looking and they came back less then 1 minute later to stare at us again for us to order. Everything was overpriced for the quality. The gimbap had good flavor.

There was only one waitress in the restaurant which makes everything very slow. We waited at the table for at least 20 mins before the food was served. (I am not blaming the waitress, she is nice but too busy)The taste of food is below average Korean restaurants around Cincy. The restroom is dirty. Won’t be here again.

When you walk in, it’s hard to tell whether or not this is a grocery or a restaurant. Nobody greeted me, so I was unsure whether or not to seat myself. Good food, although it’s not exactly hot… it’s more like tepid, or lukewarm. Sides aren’t fresh, especially the kimchi, it was quite soggy. Depressing atmosphere. I think I got depression by sitting in the cold, dark dining room. Also, inexplicably, there’s a hole in the women’s restroom. That definitely gave me the creeps. And the wavy plate was certainly… a choice! I wouldn’t recommend, nor would I go back. It’s incredibly expensive, costing $70 for two entrees and an appetizer, including tip. I pay around that at nice restaurants like Gyu Kaku, which is actually worth the money. Skip this place, go anywhere else.

The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. I enjoyed the variety of seafood included in the Seafood Udon, and all of the side dishes included were great. The owner/waitress was amazing - she helped guide us through the menu and was very personable.

Tried this spot for the first time recently. As I understand it, the previous owner had passed away earlier this year and her daughter has stepped up to run the store. She took super good care of us between getting our food out quickly and helping us navigate the menu. I tried the jeyuk bokkeum (spicy pork belly) at her recommendation and I'm glad for it, it was delicious. My wife ordered the seafood udon and while I'm not the biggest fan of seafood, it to, was really good. I'd never tried squid before, but now I'm a convert lol.I get the sense that the new owner is fighting hard to uphold all the work her mom put into the restaurant. Definitely rooting for her. With food and service like that I'm confident she'll continue that legacy. Hoping this review helps out!
