Food was great, we had the charwa minus the fries. Delicious jerk chicken tomato pasta, soup and fufu. All was good. The only down side was the fufu was too soft/sticky. Came out quick to my surprise but everything was hot fresh

The best African food in city hands down. You can't go wrong picking anything from the Jerk Chicken, the Oxtail, Yassa, Egisu and FouFou, etc. All that is wrapped in a low-key hole in the wall atmosphere with the kindest staff. The taste exceeds the price by a mile so don't be afraid to pick up something from here.

Walk up counter order. Very clean and modern vibe. The TV in thr corner was a bit loud. Tried the jerk chicken and man is it spicy... Felt it 2 more times. The cabbage was good on its own but the parts with jerk splashed on, jerk was all you could taste. The plantains were perfect. They have bottled water and Pepsi products.
Overall it was not the fall off the bone experience that I was expecting.
The white meat chicken was cut into squares and was a little tough. Question if it was pre-fab factory chicken & just warmed up.

It was our first time trying this type of food and it was great! The owner himself came out and guided us through dishes and drinks to make the experience the most authentic. The food was hot and delicious, and service was prompt and polite. We will for sure be back!

Probably one of the worst services I’ve had. This will be my last time ordering from them again. Although the gentle man was nice they messed up my order multiple times and the quality of the food is terrible.

Food was absolutely delicious! Staff was so excited for me to try there wings they sipped one up and the guaranteed it was the best around and let me tell you the wings here are some of the best I’ve ever had! So was the lamb! I’m coming back every time I’m on this side of town!

First time trying West African food and wow… Sene Grill might’ve ruined boring takeout for me. I got the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and peas, and it slapped hard. The chicken had actual spice (not that “mild” nonsense places usually try to pass off), the cabbage wasn’t some sad boiled afterthought, and the rice and peas actually had flavor. I cleaned the plate like I hadn’t eaten in a week. If you’re the type who thinks Olive Garden is “exotic,” maybe stick to that. But if you want food that actually tastes like something, Sene Grill is where you need to be.

This was really yummy food but there was a fly flying around landing all over the place and on my food and we could see flies in the kitchen from the dining area as well. So while everything was great it gave me an uneasy feeling to see flies in the kitchen. I hope they take care of the fly problem.

Dirty restaurant, filthy bathrooms, ducked off super sketchy in the back of the building with no hand soap, the kitchen staff seemed untrained and grimy, the food was very unappealing! I got something as simple as grilled chicken and rice and I couldn't eat it. Got a lemonade took one sip and was just soooo gross out. It didn't taste ANYTHING like lemonade. I'm a Black American who wanted to give African cuisine a try and was soooo disappointed. I don't understand how this place is even open. Maybe my standards are just very different because I'm American.
