Been dining here for 10+ yrs... tonight was the first time I was man-splained by a waiter... he tried to convince me that the California plum wine is the same as the Japanese plum sake. He was adamant they are the same. Turned out they were out of plum sake tonight. I ended up ordering a sangria...

The food was very good. The chef was very nice and entertaining. We went in with a party of 13. When we got the bill, and it was way more expensive than the prices in the menu. When I asked about it, the waitress told us the hostess was not in that day and we were given the wrong menus. Bad policy! Over priced!

Great food (I recommend the dynamite sushi roll and the habachi chicken and shrimp) and great service (we get the same great level of customer service on peak Fridays as we doing on a week night). Soho is our go-to place for Asian cuisine. I agree they are pricey but you get what you pay for. If you want food that not even food, go to McDonald's. If you want fresh food, cooked right, go to Soho.

It was my first time at Soho and it was a great experience. Roman was our server, his knowledge of the restaurant, menu, and other random things was great! Shout out to Roman for the perfect service and letting me know what wasabi really is ??It was over a week ago and I think I did the Sunday morning. It was better than average, but the Belle of the ball was the salmon fried rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was a great companion for the fried rice. Which was already good. I really recommend it if you're looking for something similar but different. It's even good warmed up the next day.I look forward to going back and exploring the menu. The mushroom soup and salad did their thing as well! Long story short...great atmosphere and food, and I'm excited to go back!

Food was ok. It has potential to be beautiful place but it needs cleaned! Hibachi grill was filthy. Old food visible, shoved by grate and they just do a big flame thinking it would clean it. Old food from prior meals was still there. Bathroom extremely cold and floor very sticky to walk on. Shame it wasn’t a better experience. Also only beer and wine served for lunch even though they have a full bar. Tried to order a peartini that was listed on their menu and it couldn’t be made.

I've tried several Japanese hibachi style places and this one is the best I've had so far.

Very weird vibe that we received from the host and even the owner. We had arrived at 5:45 and didn’t get seated until 6:35 after previously being told we would be seated at 6:20 after being sat down food service was slow. It took more than a hour for the chef to start cooking we didn’t leave until 9:30.

Came at the tail end of lunch. First time I had veggie tempura that wasn't appetizing. It wasn't nasty, but not good either. My bf said the shrimp tempura wasn't good. The salad was ok, kind of watery. Miso soup was ok. We got the VIP with chicken, shrimp, salmon, & steak. Something was off with the steak & it was kind of tough though we got it medium well. Salmon was ok. Shrimp & chicken was good. Could've saved 40$ & just got the lunch special seriously. Nothing was spectacular, not even the yum-yum sauce. Our server, John, was cool though. Based on the food, don't think I'll be back.

Had a late sashimi lunch- prices a bit higher than what I’m used to in NC BUT the QUALITY OF THE SASHIMI was STELLAR! The yellow tail, scallops, tuna, salmon, octopus - fabulous thick tender cuts! My server could tell I wasn’t our run-of-the-mill Americanized cream cheese roll kind of girl and promptly asked if I wanted fresh wasabi- that makes a huge difference in the type of Japanese restaurant you dine in… the little things of authenticity. I’m moving to West Chester for GE and plan on this being one of my go to places for my voracious sashimi appetite ! Thanks for a great experience- the service by all was wonderful- cute decor too! Love the tall bamboo ! Felt so fun- great aestheticsEdit: I wish I could post a photo of my sashimi- so artful and delicious

Loved the server and atmosphere. The food was not worth it. The manager had an attitude when i told him my steak and shrimp were super hard when i asked for it to be medium. If you don’t care about scenery check out “Kiji hibachi” they will not disappoint on the food. (Thank me later)
