I have not had a good flat white from this store in years! Today my ‘flat white’ was about four inches shy of being full and (see picture) and had foamed half and half poured on top. A correctly made flat white uses full-on creme, not half and half…and is steamed but not foamed. The pour is a gentle mix of both espresso and steamed creme, poured into the cup at the same time so as not to mix in too much air. YES, it does make a difference in taste.
