This place is a favorite of ours. They offer a ton of great options and seasonal flavors. The staff are always very friendly and the service is quick. The serving sizes are larger than anticipated. My personal favorite non-seasonal flavor is peanut butter. It just checks all of the boxes for me. We wish they were open year round! Stop by for a quick treat. You won't be disappointed!

I have been coming here every year since I was basically born it is amazing however I always get a cherry shake and half the time it is not fully blended with vanilla ice cream still at the bottom. However I still love it but I wish it would be more consistently blended! 🫶

The cone is a long standing pillar of the West Chester ice cream community. They have a variety of cones to choose from and many ways to enjoy soft served ice cream. We stick to the basic zebra cone. It’s a really good cone but a little on the pricey side compared to others in the city. The official rating would put this place at #6 in the top 10. You should definitely take time to visit if you’re in the area.

Prices have gone up, but the quality is still good and I think it's worth stopping by here at least a few times a month. I wish it was open year-round. The peanut butter ice cream is one of my favorite and I like that I can use any flavor ice cream in my treats.
I have no major complaints. Sometimes the portions seem a little off, especially on busier, hotter days. I try to go during the weekday when it's less busy. The customer service is outstanding, I always feel welcome whenever I come by the drive-thru.

The new owners came to my work today the icecream is very delicious and they are very nice!!!
Yesterday was the first time we visited The Cone since the closing sale last year. We live in Indiana (Indianapolis and Kokomo) and have been coming here for years. I try to visit every time I am in Cincinnati. I can understand price increases given food and supply costs, but I also noticed the size of the cones seemed to be much smaller than years past. The ice cream was much softer than normal (I have been there when was the temperature outside has been much higher than it was yesterday) and the peanut butter ice cream was not as good as it has been. I know that it is made with in house made peanut butter sauce so maybe that was from normal variation. But the biggest thing we noticed yesterday besides how fast the ice cream melted was that the waffle cones and the cake cone we ordered were stale. One person in our group was disappointed several of the pinball machines/games had been removed. Needless to say it was an okay visit. Because we have always loved this place, the staff is always great, and I have been recommending it for years, I will try it again next time I visit. I really hope this is a one time blip.

We came to the cone on 08/03/2025. Samantha was one of the young ladies who was working on an iPad and took our order. She was very professional, very sweet, and was very pleasant when we asked what flavors of slushies they had. The customer service was top notch and made us feel welcome. Was very pleased with the service and will be back!
