First time at a topgolf. Food was just okay, server was attentive. We went during slow time (3pm ish on a weekday) and were surprised when our visit ended (1 hr) and we were asked to leave immediately - like can we even finish up our drinks???? The waiter told us he needed to seat the next group, yet the entire floor was almost empty. Nowhere was it mentioned that we had to leave the second the hour was up, or else we probably wouldn’t have gotten food and drinks. We spent a significant amount of money here, so that was kind of rude, honestly. Hope this helps

Good experience overall. We made a reservation and when we arrived they served us right away. Our waitress was good. We did not order any food.

Our recent visit to Topgolf West Chester, Ohio was supposed to be a fun family outing, but it quickly turned into one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Our group consisted of three families — 13 people total (6 adults and 7 children). The first two families arrived about ten minutes ahead of us and asked for two hours of game play in bays next to each other. The goal was simple: spend time together as a group. The check-in associate, Doug, informed them that we could not have three bays side by side because it would be considered an “event,” and we had not pre-booked one. They explained that we were three families traveling together and just wanted to enjoy time with each other, but Doug refused and was extremely dismissive and rude in tone. He claimed company policy prevented it, even though there were clearly open bays together. When my family arrived around 2:00, Doug was short and condescending from the start — even before realizing we were part of the same group. When I politely asked if we could choose a bay near our friends, he immediately became defensive, raising his voice to say, “I ALREADY told your friends it’s IMPOSSIBLE to put you together! You get the bay you get!” When I pointed out that the bays near them appeared open, he insisted that they were already reserved — even claiming someone had specifically booked those exact bays, which I later learned was untrue, as Topgolf does not allow specific bay selection during online booking. We were placed about ten bays away from our friends, despite several empty bays between us. When I asked a simple follow-up question about using a gift card, Doug cut me off again, saying, “Your waiter will handle that,” and shooed me away. At that point, my husband asked to speak with a manager. The manager who came to our bay was a younger man with longer hair (I did not catch his name). He was calm, professional, and well-spoken. He apologized for Doug’s behavior and said that while he understood our frustration, company policy doesn’t guarantee three bays together and that those near our friends and beside us were already booked by other groups. He even admitted that Doug had filled in surrounding bays with smaller parties because of “timing conflicts” and nearby “events.” The manager offered us $25 off as an apology for Doug’s tone, which we appreciated, but no small discount can make up for how unwelcome and dismissed we felt. The most disappointing part is that this was our first-ever Topgolf experience. We had looked forward to learning the games together and letting the kids enjoy the experience side by side — something that should have been easily accommodated given the number of open bays. Although the manager’s tone was polite, his explanation proved to be false. For the entire three hours we played, the bay immediately beside our friends stayed open, as did several others nearby us. This made it abundantly clear that we had been misled — first by Doug’s rudeness, then by the manager’s dishonesty. Topgolf’s choice to prioritize arbitrary “event” rules and cover for unprofessional staff over basic customer satisfaction is baffling. It’s hard to justify ever returning when both a front-line employee and a manager were more focused on defending bad decisions than creating a positive guest experience. Even though our family enjoyed the game itself, the lasting impression is one of dishonesty, rudeness, and poor judgment. Watching open bays sit empty while being told it was “impossible” to sit together made us feel deceived and unvalued. If this is how Topgolf chooses to treat customers, we’ll find somewhere else to spend our time and money.
It's Topgolf! The waitress was very attentive. Food and drinks were exactly as you'd expect at a Topgolf. Great night out with my team after a full day planning the next quarter.
Top golf offers a unique experience and it is set up for levels of play from beginner to advanced. The food is good and the menu is plentiful. Service is very good and responsive. The systems used to rent a bay and hit gold balls is easy to use and understand. The music is upbeat and loud but not so loud that one can not talk. Overall a good experience.
I love Top Golf because it has great atmosphere and the service is great but I wish they would offer a little bit more in food for example: fruit bowl would be good etc.
