The afternoon tea at the asterik supper club is an experience that I highly recommend. Some saturdays there is a harpist. The food and desserts are yummy and the service is spectacular
What a fun and enchanting little find! This was not only a restaurant/tea house but had some fun mixed in. I honestly felt like a little girl playing tea party.
Astwrisk recommends that you make reservations but we were not sure when we'd get over there. However, they were very accommodating and we walked right in at 1:30pm for lunch.
The atmosphere made you feel like you were in a first class establishment. Yet the prices were affordable. The music was also nice. The menu was so fun. They inserted it in a book and not only do you get a menu but a book.
I had the Famous Chicken sandwich. It had a wonderful combination of flavors. The plain fries were small yet were just the right amount of crunch. I was obsessed.
My niece had the Burger and loved it. She also got the plain fries and agreed they were tasty. Next time we will be more daring and try the truffle fries.
The tea is so good! Especially with this really cold weather we are having. I drank the Butternut shortbread and it reminded me of Christmas. My niece had the vanilla chi and it was good but after the shortbread tea I really didn't want anything else.
Had an amazing dinner experience! All of our food was amazing and we were able to order tea with dinner which was lovely! The poutine was SO good!
Can’t wait to come back for their afternoon tea service!
Thank you so much for hosting our wedding dinner! Staff were incredibly accommodating and the food and drinks were incredible. You helped make our night perfect!
We stopped in for drinks. The cocktails were delicious. Service was good, and it's a great atmosphere. Looking forward to returning for tea/lunch sometime.
Fun environment but the food was just okay & fairly pricey. Would still go back and try the afternoon tea.
What an amazing experience! I was looking for a traditional tea service and they delivered!
We took my mother for her birthday so that we could have a girl's tea. Our server was lovely and the food was delicious.
Good food. Great atmosphere. Cute ambience. One of my favorites.
Went here for dinner with the family and grandkid and had an amazing time. They had excellent cocktails, the service staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was perfect. They had a special beef Wellington that was the best I’ve had, will be bringing the family again in the near future

Was in town from Indiana. This place didn't disappoint
We had been told to not miss Asterisk Coffee and it does appear to be such a cool spot with a solid long bar straight out of the old west and a library that extends as far as the bar its parallel to. There are cendewiers too on repeat and attracts one to simply explore. We did make ourselves to the back before being told by a staff member to return to the hostess station. Of which there was none but thats ok the place looks cool and we will return and promise not to pass the entry hostess stand without further permission.
The pot pie tonight was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I can't stress it enough. I counted 1 piece of chicken. 1. It was a creamy milky broth and vegetables. Lost my appetite
Super cute/fun experience. The Big tea really is enough for 2 - we were sceptical and also shared an entree but barely touched it.
We dropped in because our friend wanted my wife to try the coffee old-fashioned.
WOW! We stayed for lunch.
It's really hard to pull off what they're doing - and eclectic space, food, drinks, and high-tea! Asterisk does it! The staff is amazing. We were seated in the bar area, and Micah was our server. He was attentive, engaging, and a Rock Star server!
Food was yummy and creative. A perfect example is the cinnamon roll apple pie. I'm a bit picky about apple pie, and the novel twist of using.thin mini cinnamon rolls as the top crust is genius!
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. To put that in perspective, I'm in my 60s and have eaten all over the world. We'll be back next time we're in town.
