“My first time here and I was not disappointed. I went around 3pm on a Saturday and it was not busy so I got my food quick. The staff was friendly and really explained the menu. I order the BLT and chose the house fries. OMG it was delicious!! The spicy mayo was on point! I highly recommend it. I tried the Mac and cheese. It was good, different but good. Don’t know if I’ll order it again. Tasted like they used curry in it which I like, but some may not. I also grabbed some desserts. I’m a sucker for a lemon cupcake. I’m excited to go back and try everything on the menu.”

“Love this spot. Very clean and well maintained. Food is excellent - pancakes are consistently a hit which is always a plus from a diner and the conewich is so fun! Biscuits are great too. Prices are reasonable and service is good, super kind and not overly attentive but still present if you need something. It's almost always busy so get there early and be prepared for a short wait if it's after 10 AM on a weekend. Worth it, though!”

“I was looking for a good place to try afternoon tea and stumbled upon this restaurant. Asterisk has a very nice ambiance, with a dark academia look using books as menus and different pattern tea ware. You do not need a reservation to come here because there is a large shared table in the middle, but it is recommended for a smaller private table. The seats at the large table are very close together and personally do not want to be bumping elbows while I eat. The afternoon tea service was a joy. You can pick as many teas as you like and choose from a variety of finger sandwiches. The service is very good and the servers will explain anything on their menu that you need. The dinner menu has very nice options, but I was not entirely impressed with the flavor. I mainly come here for the atmosphere, but the food isn't terrible, just not amazing. I still recommend this place for an intimate meal or a joyful tea time.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Parking: There are parking lots a couple blocks away or street parking if available.Kid-friendliness: It is more of an adult atmosphere.”

“Make sure to try the burnt ends - they're so good that they might run out, but if they do, just ask nicely if they can still give you the sauce. And don't forget to try all of their delicious sauces - we loved all of them! We opted for the "just the meats" option and everything was absolutely delicious. The brisket, half chicken, and ribs were so yummy. The Mac and cheese was decent, but nothing too memorable. “I booked a table here based on some of the pictures I saw online. I thought I was booking a nice romantic spot. Not so much. We didn't want to sit over by the bar where there was a tv so asked to be put over by the window. Thought it would be quiet but turned out there must have been hockey regionals this weekend. Children running through and not quite the dining experience I wanted. Most of the food was good. The scallops were phenomenal with the risotto and spinach. My husband's steak was great except both of his sides were COLD. Not lukewarm but cold. Our server was amazing and took care of it and brought hot fries out for him. He also had broccolini as a side which looked like it had been cooked last week and just thrown in the dish. The dessert was ok. The hazelnut bread pudding was kind of dry and lukewarm although it was still acceptable. I have to say again that our server was amazing ( I'm sorry I forgot her name) Based on her service I would go back knowing now what to expect.”

“We had a coupon $15 for 2 lunch menu items.We chose the cashew chicken with fried rice and an egg roll, along with the General tso with fried rice and egg roll.Both meals were good. Lunch portions were good and the egg rolls were crisp.The fried rice was a little dry and the egg roll looked pretty much like white fillings- or pale green. No carrots or anything I could easily identify as meat. They were okay.The space was clean and bathrooms well kept.This is a plaza right on the outskirts of Westerville in the Blendon township vicinity.The meals did not come with more than 1 small napkins per person and no fortune cookies. I love they have a little bite to them, unlike many lower quality ramen places with overcooked noodles.Wukong Broth 5/5-the broth is powerful. Flavorful and the right balance of spice. This doesn't have the watered-down taste common with ramen shops.Marinated egg 4/5 - Lots of flavor and perfectly cooked. Though could use a longer marinate to be perfect.Meat. 1.5/ 5 -Lots of flavor. Not much quality. All the meat tasted over cooked and a little dry as well as the pork was chewy and dry.Veggies 2.5/5 veggies didn't taste bad. But they had a lack of crunch you expect from fresh bean sprouts. The store was remodeled and looks sterile -- no plants- there was a lovely tree growing in the front of the store. The seating was spaced and limited like COVID was still an issue, tho it was almost 2 years ago. The outside of the lovely brick building was painted white. Again, it looked sterile. I've been to other "hot" chicken restaurants in the central Ohio area and was unpleasantly let down. They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. The portions were great and the price was good too. I have found my Hot Chicken restaurant in central Ohio and will be returning soon.”

“I know it's strange to rate fast food restaurants, but this McDonalds is consistently clean and the food is freshly made. My son and I come here for the play area, which has always been clean and well-maintained. The play area is a great resource for parents to meet up, have a meal, and chat while their children play. What makes this play area nice is that it's in a separate room of the restaurant with only one entrance. There is also a bathroom in the play area as well. The staff are also friendly and quick with orders. If you pay at the kiosk, the staff will bring your food to you, which is super handy if you're wrangling a lot of kids!”

Our food was done surprisingly quick. I got the Hunan Chicken and enjoyed it. We will be adding Lucky House to our list of Chinese restaurants.”

There is parallel parking just outside the doors and along the side of the road. The custard is not overly expensive. We tried a mix of chocolate and vanilla and enjoyed both. “I love many dishes here! When my family comes, we can share many appetizers and entrées. We particularly like egg rolls, spring rolls, chicken lettuce wraps and Great Asian Special Soup to share. The soup is huge and not too salty. Of entrées, I always get Mala Green Beans, under the vegetarian category. You can get it with different meats, but I LOVE the proportion of beans and rice, and the chicken is sometimes dry/overcooked. I also order the green beans extra hot, but it's fine with the regular garlic sauce, too.”

First time ordering with my wife at home as she usually wants to get Jet's but talked her into Romeo's. My duaghter's loved it and so did my wife. I have had two now and they are stuffed with ingrediants, not like Jet's deli boats where it is all bread! Hope to start making this a weekly family order. I haven’t visited since it was bought out a year or so ago but it sounded like it was a great switch with a friend of the owners’. I don’t remember the specific details so don’t hold me or them to that. It’s a very cute place. They have high top and low top tables. I do believe they have a ramp up to get inside so they’re wheelchair accessible. I’ll update this once I find out. I remember their wine options being more on the sweeter side but everything I’ve ever tried has been very good, fresh, crisp and perfectly chilled when appropriate. Everyone always starts with a flight which gives you 3 pours of anything you’d like on their menu so you can see what you may want more of. They have fun magnets, knick knacks, wine openers, coasters, tshirts and more for sale too. Parking lots are provided around back, street parking available and another 2 parking lots across the street behind Jimmy V’s/The Courthouse & Temperance Row.”

They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. The portions were great and the price was good too. I have found my Hot Chicken restaurant in central Ohio and will be returning soon.”

They seem understaffed often so they're trying their best. This is one of my favorite taco bells in the city.”
