I must say, this place is legit. ‘The BLT Delicious slices of vegan bacon, coated with their signature Sriracha Mayo, stacked high with mixed greens, Roma tomatoes, avocados, and cilantro, in between toasted whole wheat bread. House fries included and really doesn’t ‘taste vegan.’ I feel like non-vegans would LOVE this! I am at Aww! I am lost for words! Not only that, the chef/owner and the guy at the counter were nice. Me and my friend where their when they opened at 11am. This place is 100% on point! Love this place and would recommend to anyone - vegan or not! I can not say this enough, incredible vegan restaurant. Another thing I really appreciated about this place was how cute and clean the bathroom was. Now, let's talk about the food. I found myself in a chicken salad conundrum: the broccoli salad was calling my name, but the pasta salad was whispering sweet nothings in my ear. Unable to play favorites, I bravely ordered both. And boy, am I glad I did! Both sides were fresh, flavorful, and a perfect complement to my main course.
Speaking of the main course, the Olivia's Old South Chicken Salad Sandwich was an absolute showstopper! It was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. The chicken salad was creamy and dreamy, and the bread was the perfect vessel for this chickeny delight. I'm still dreaming about it!
The prices were surprisingly affordable, making it easy to indulge in multiple menu items without breaking the bank. Plus, the service was incredibly fast, which is always a win in my book.

My favorite meal selections are the cloud nine pancakes, applewood smoked bacon, homemade breakfast sausage, country breakfast, fresh buttermilk biscuit, classic cheeseburger, Northstar burger, fish sandwich, and chopped salad. I have never had a bad experience or meal at Northstar. This is the energy and sense of community that was present at Starbucks. You can see and feel through the experience and the atmosphere that Northstar is firmly committed to exceptional service and quality. This is my go-to spot to rewind, relax, and socialize.”

“We are from Texas and had to visit Columbus for my husbands job. We came here for dinner this past Thursday evening and the service was amazing. I had a very cranky baby and several of the waitstaff offered to get her a variety of different things to make her happy. I really appreciated that. I ordered the fried pickles and the fish and shrimp. The pickles were SPEARS which made me very happy as I love me some fried pickles but I can’t get spears anywhere around here. The fish and shrimp were hot and fresh and so crispy. Beer was ice cold and I left fat and happy! Thanks again for being so kind and understanding with my baby girl!”

The seating was spaced and limited like COVID was still an issue, tho it was almost 2 years ago. The outside of the lovely brick building was painted white. Again, it looked sterile. But if you love their roast beef (and can afford to eat there) it is worth the trip.
