As I cut into the cake, i was pleasantly surprised to see the many layers of cookie crust, cookie dough and caramel, the cheesecake and the yummy topping of whipped cream and chocolate chips. We are going to freeze half so we can enjoy the next few weekends.I ordered the cookie dough cheesecake 2 weeks prior to the day I needed it. “I strayed from my usual Cortado during this brutal heatwave to enjoy an espresso tonic. This underordered and simple drink was made great here with great portion of tonic water to add a sweetness to the hearty espresso flavor. There was not too much ice so the flavor stayed and hardly shifted as the espresso and tonic mixed in portions as the drink went on. Am looking forward to trying a Cortado and a house lemonade from the truck!“

“I went to the Marion location. First time stopping in. I got the Brisket platter and two rib platters. I got them to go. The Brisket had great flavor, it was a little drier than I like my brisket but the flavor was there. The ribs were on point, tender juicy full of flavor. The sides I got were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The baked beans were great smoky flavor and a little bit of sweetness to them. The Mac and cheese perfect with how cheesy it was. Over all great food and friendly staff and you get your moneys worth of food. Keep up the good work“

“We had El Tuzo when they came to Shovel City Drinkery in Marion. We got chorizo tacos, al pastor tacos, quesa-birria, nachos with chicken, and churros. Everything was absolutely delicious, we especially liked the chorizo. Hope to see them again soon!“

They have a great menu with a lot of gluten free options, it is a blessing. I get a falafel bowl and add chicken; the generous portions result in leftovers or me sharing with friends. “I was camping in the fairground and did not want to drive so I walked under the tracks to this place. My wife and I enjoyed it so much I went back again the next day.

The flavors are excellent, the portions are just right too. I had the torta with chorizo, topped it with their spicy sauce, and I would go back for another again. We also had the burrito, quesadilla, and carne asada plate and enjoyed them all.“
