Drove north 20 minutes today for one reason: to grab an order of steamed dumplings from New China Express at Sancus/Lazelle near Polaris (They run 4 local locations afaik). I saw pics on the web this morning and decided to giddyup for lunch! The dumps were definitely worth the effort - big and plump with springy outer wrappers, loaded with ground meat and spices. As someone who grew up in Westerville I've been eating at New China Express for well over a decade. In all of that time I've tried a handful of dishes. Including orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried wontons, and wonton soup. The sweet and sour chicken here is simply unmatched.
